Located on a lake, this cottage is in Seacrest, a neighbourhood in Delray Beach. Pictures are deceiving! No way 2 cars fit in driveway. No microwave no Kleenex no hot water in bathroom sink. Mattress needs upgrade.

Thank you for your review, Stacy. I'm sorry the stay fell short of what you hoped for—we truly value guest comfort and take all feedback seriously. It was a pleasure hosting you and your husband. Safe travels!
Really friendly , clean. Had 90% of everything listed. Property needs some minor work, with staying at. Owners are understanding and easy to work with.
If you like hot water in your VRBO, this is not the place for you. I contacted the host (Dee) the evening of check in to let her know that there was not hot water. She told me she would handle it in the morning.
In a nutshell, we still did not have hot water the next night and were told it would be the next day. The host said not having hot water was an “inconvenience”. Details are below.
In the morning (after check in) she told me that someone would come out to fix it and that they needed to check for a gas leak. This is documented in a text. She mentioned several times that this cost her $200.
I was told that it would be “perfect” by 4:30 pm. There was no hot water at 4:30 or 5:30 or later. My elderly mother and I went to a family dinner without showering. Dee and I agreed (and this is documented) that she would let me know by 7 pm if someone had fixed the issue and that we would have hot water by 8 pm or we would receive a refund.
The host stopped returning my texts and did not answer my call. Through VRBO she told me it would be fixed the next day (so another day of no hot water). She also told me that not having hot water was merely an “inconvenience” and did not seem to understand why I would be uncomfortable in this situation.
All of this is documented but the host has accused me of lying, implying that my concern about them checking for a gas leak was unnecessary.
Otherwise, the house is very clean, the photos are accurate and it is on a nice street.
