Inside the house, you can enjoy an open floor concept with ample areas for dining, living, sleeping, and cooking. If you would like to catch up on your work during the trip, you can use a dedicated office table and the complimentary internet access. The central air-conditioning and heating can maintain an ambient temperature for a comfortable trip. As a beach vacation is all about lying on the sand and swimming in the ocean, you cannot avoid a big stack of sandy clothes during your trip. Do not worry about bringing lots of clothes, as we have a dedicated laundry area for your convenience. Take advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer for your laundry requirements.
As the beach home is located in the city center, you can find excellent food options. Find popular restaurants serving fresh local seafood. But if you would like to cook your own meals, it is absolutely possible in the fully functional kitchen. Find appliances like a cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster so you make everything from a quick breakfast to an elaborate dinner. The dining table can comfortably seat six guests so you can enjoy the special home-cooked meals before heading out to the beach once again. The outdoor deck is a perfect spot to relax, talk, and enjoy the cool beach air. It also has a gas grill where you can plan a fun BBQ picnic. After all, a vacation is the right opportunity to spend some relaxing moments with your loved ones while enjoying all the activities that you may miss back home.
Catching your favorite shows or movies is easily possible with the flat screen television in the living room. As we handle all the basic requirements for your stay, you can focus on grabbing maximum fun from the experience. For example, we offer bath and kitchen towels, fresh bed linens, and a starter kit of toiletries.

This was the perfect house for our family. It was a great location to the beach. You had everything we needed. I was strongly recommend this place for a family.
Perfect location and accommodation to check out Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant, Charleston and beyond. So close to the amazing beaches. Short walk. Roomy home. Glad we didn’t stay downtown Charlestown because the beaches can’t be beat.

My 5 year old grandson wanted to go to the beach for his birthday (gift). This house was perfect for our weekend - very short walk to the beach (even a 5 year old could handle it!) Great location. Check in and out was easy. The office is always helpful.

Loved our stay in this quaint house. Property was clean with a nice layout and had a large fence to block/protect the driveway from the busy road. Only a couple blocks walk to the beach, restaurant and coffee shop. My parents stayed in the master suite off the kitchen. My husband and I and our kids stayed in the two bedrooms sharing a bathroom and it was perfect! Highly recommend.
The place was spotless, and it was easy to communicate with the realty company and get credit for beach gear. I contacted the company the day we arrived, and they allowed us to check in a few hours early. House was easy to access with a code, and beach gear awaited us there with the $250 credit the stay permitted. Beach was an easy 4 min walk, and the crowds and traffic were much better than Folly Beach. I 100% recommend it.

Could be really cute but needs a deep thorough cleaning, some touch-up painting. Repair or replacement of front screen door (would not stay closed unless you pulled up on the handle) and front fence has a panel falling over. We also had a problem with the tub not draining on 2 separate days. It is listed with a king and queen bed but we found it to have 2 queen beds. It worked for us but it could be so much more.
Upon arrival, my first impression was the curb appeal was a little less desirable. The shrubbery was over grown and the screen door was not latched, hanging open. You must walk through grass to access this back porch, unless you want to walk through the master bedroom. It would be nice to have a path with stones to lead to the backyard. Upon entering the home, it was clean but dated. It was well stocked with supplies, and my kids loved playing Monopoly! With some TLC, this could be a top notch rental.

The person on call when we arrived was very short and talked to me like I was a moron. I think his name was Mike. I was lost, having trouble finding Carroll Realty and was given bad directions x 2 by locals. The house could use a good deep clean. Mostly neat, but dust bunnies under the beds and baseboards were very dirty. Floor also were not very clean. Bare feet would be black just walking across a room. The yard was messy and bushes at the ends of driveway need to be removed or trimmed. The washing machine does not spin water out of the clothes and the clothes came out soppy wet. Otherwise it is a nice enough house and served our needs.

I do sincerely apologize for the confusion upon your arrival. We understand it was a tad frustrating when two other people had also given confusing directions; however, we did try our best to relay the direction info with you since you were not using GPS. We take these things for granted maybe these days ;)
We’ve never had any cleaning issues before or complaints otherwise, but we will certainly address these as necessary. We strive for and hold a high standard for our housekeepers because we understand how important it is. Thank you for the comments, and we will continue to work to keep the property maintained to our standards.
We came for almost a week and hoped to have most of our meals prepared at the house. We found every single thing we needed to prepare our meals, even a few staples in the pantry. Having laundry on site was amazing as well as a hose in the back to wash off the sand every day. We loved the site and the one and only thing I would recommend improving is a more secure back door as I felt a good kick would give someone access as it was moving around even when locked when someone pushed it. Great communication , absolutely no problems at all!

Please note: Carroll Realty is the property management company chosen by the homeowner and requires that their rental agreement be signed prior to occupying the property. This agreement will be sent after a reservation is made along with other helpful rental info for your stay. Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.
Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
