Simple Lowkey red-roofed bungalow in Tiputa, situated where the locals live. Generally you’ll land at the airport at Avatoru . A prepaid taxi will take you to the quay then a quick water taxi across the strait to Tiputa.Daniel and/or his friendly wife Kema will be waiting to meet you in their pickup & will have prepaid all taxies / water ferries associated with arriving & departing. (Daniel also provides excursions & fishing trips - but we didn’t know about this and had already made plans.)The bungalow has pretty much everything for 1 or 2 people to stay. The smaller of the two beds is in the air-conditioned bedroom. You can watch the wall mounted TV from the larger bed in the corner of the main room. WiFi worked greatThere’s a full drawer of cutlery, cupboard of cups and plates, a microwave, a cigarette lighter to start the gas range, bottled water to drink. The ground pump outside is that noise you hear every time you open Apart from that there are two bicycles that we used a lot. On the day we did the reef tour we left them unlocked at the Tiputa quay and they were still there at 5pm.The photos are from check out day where we were packing our bags. Excuse the mess.
