Host was very responsive. The house needed a good deep cleaning. Seems like maybe someone hadn’t stayed in awhile. Sheets and pillows seemed a little old. Plenty of space and good water pressure. They did put up a Christmas tree which was a nice touch. My kids enjoyed it.
We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving 2025. House was roomy and comfortable. Beds and showers were great, but hot water took quite a while to engage. Cleanliness did not meet our expectations and kitchen towels clean but stained, same for some of the pillow cases. Great location, 10 minute walk for views of the waterways, short drive to stores and food.
This rental property was perfectly located for the long-weekend trip that my daughter and granddaughter took to explore Mississippi National Historic Sites.
We enjoyed our stay. We did have to change locations due to plumbing issues and there was an issue woth the garage door but it did not hamper our stay and Kimberly was amazing to work with. I would stay on her property again.
Great size house, very spacious. Loved the open areas, the tech available. (Smart TV's, Fire sticks) they were very helpful for the purpose of this event. My group was there for a small meeting among planners for a youth girls group.
We were in desperate need of a place to stay while our house was being repaired. Kimberly was very responsive to messages and very helpful during that stressful time for me, my husband, our 8 year old and our 4 legged children!
Met all needs of family. The projector TV was very popular.
Grand kids caught fish from dock. Quiet neighborhood. Was able to park six cars for family reunion. Used grill in the back for burgers & dogs. Great for walking-saw an alligator.(we kept our distance from the gator) Geese, ducks, thrushes and of course crows, helped entertain us on our walks.
The house was well located in a lovely walking area but in need of maintenance. It is well stocked with paper, cleaning, coffee and all things mentioned in the listing. The house was posted as 4 bedrooms but a room with beds, no closet to hang clothes and no door does not make a bedroom. Other issue for four older women is a high top dining room table that is not comfortable to sit at.
Also it rained one day and the front entrance area was a mud pit. Very hard to get into house due to muddy driveway and walkway.

Pretty good, a few disappointments
Overall this property had great space for a family visit. The THREE bedrooms were decent sizes, and that was all we really needed. The bonus space with the projector was great for our child to watch some TV separate from the main living area. A couple of things though. The bonus room has its own AC that was shut off day 2 from a leak and never turned back on. There is one vent, but not enough for a garage conversion to stay cool in 90 degree or higher weather. With 90 degree or higher weather, it would also be assumed that the thermostat would be kept at a comfortable temperature during our stay. It was set to change throughout the day or one setting being 80 degrees. Too hot for babies. And lastly, the tankless water heater couldn't keep up/didn't work consistently. Bathrooms were okay, but the kitchen had a hard time getting and keeping hot water.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for staying with us! We’re so glad to hear that the space worked well for your family and that you enjoyed the separate bonus room with the projector for your child.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the bonus room AC and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. A leak required it to be shut off for safety, and we understand how that impacted your comfort—especially in warmer weather. We had to order a part and we apologize for the delay due to the holiday. It is fixed and working great.
Regarding the thermostat settings, we have adjusted the programming to maintain a more consistent and family-friendly temperature throughout future stays. We also appreciate your note on the water heater and will have our maintenance team inspect the system to ensure it’s functioning properly across the entire home.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we’re committed to making improvements. We hope to host you again under better conditions in the future!
Booked this property after receiving news of a death in the family. As we live in north central Texas and needed room four our family of 4 plus my parents and brother and niece. We all loved the space and the property owner went above and beyond when I arrived and and didn't book the dates correctly! She quickly remedied the situation and with a phone call and email we were inside the property and all was great. The backyard was a lifesaver for our boys to have room for football and soccer. As well as the large couches allows plenty of room for us to decompress and be with each other. Very wonderful place.

The property was clean and it was simply beautiful inside
Our experience was great the property was beautiful although we had one person in our group that had a disability and I feel like the place where the washer and dryer was could have been A third bathroom with just a walk-in shower toilet and Facebow and maybe a folding door that gave that bedroom some privacy and a regular coffee pot but On a hold it was a great house simply beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves very much miss Kimberly was so nice thank you very much
My son got married in Jackson and we are from Tupelo. It was a PERFECT place to stay for our family. Lots of room to spread out! The teenagers loved the big screen projector and bunk room to hang out in…..and Mom & Dad loved it too!
