We had a great stay. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. The dock and lake were awesome. Looking forward to booking the property next year. The only issue was the toilet down stairs is hanging on by one rusted nut, please fix before it causes a big mess.
Other than a little snafu with the door code upon arrival, everything was adequate. One of the reasons we chose this home was because of the private dock but we later learned that the lake level is lowered this time of year for flood mitigation (at least thats what we were told by a local we met). If we decide to return next year, we'll definitely find a different location.

Disappointing. Dated and misrepresented. Broken kitchen door and picnic table. Yard with trash and crumbs on table. Musty smell. Property manager only said sorry you are disappointed. Only stayed 1 night out of 3.
Amazing place! We had a great stay at this lakeside property. The dock was perfect for our boat and decks were fantastic. There were some drawbacks, the hot tub took three days to heat up, and the tile floors in the lower bedrooms are a little uncomfortable, its kind far from stores, the bathrooms are a little dated, and the internet sometimes cuts out. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time swimming and relaxing by the lake and for the price you really can't beat it.
Nice house, small , lots of decks. Kitchen needs a few items( cutting board, cookie sheets, roasting pans). Enjoyed hot tub and having washer/dryer. Loved electric recliner! Perfect for our business trip. Would recommend.
All was as expected except the outside grills were both rusted out and not safe for using and we brought meals that depended on use of the grill. We had a problem with one of the toilets, but the management crew fixed it within 24 hours. Beautiful views, good dock for jumping off, a lot of stairs though. The evening sun in summer is HOT though, blaring at the backside of the house, this makes it harder to enjoy sitting outside on the decks available. Overall, the house is aging and needs updates.
The property was good and clean. It has strong internet and the only issue we had was the hot tub. I called on Sunday to the maintenance number provided thinking no one would come out until Monday. I was pleasantly surprised that within three hours someone came out to look at it. Although they could not repair it he was able to contact someone who could and it was done on Monday. So outstanding on addressing an issue. We have used this place a couple of times and one of the best assets is the boat dock. I have a real nice boat and one of the things I always look for is the dock. Great place and highly recommend for a nice retreat.

Nice cabin on Douglas Lake
Overall this was a great vacation home on the lake. Had some trouble receiving the code for the door but thankfully the answering service was able to help. The home could definitely use some TLC for some of the window screens, blinds, and the laundry room doors. The hot tub is also probably due for servicing. Only one set of jets had good water pressure and the first day we couldnt get the water temp above 86. Maintenence came by the next morning and got the heater working properly. Didnt know about the jets until afterwards and just decided to let it go. Otherwise everything else was as advertised and we had a pleasant stay. Well stocked kitchen and the swing on the lower porch was a favorite spot in the evenings. Loved being away from noise and light pollution at night.
We were not informed of the severe decline in the lake water level. It was so low it was certainly not the lakeside view anticipated and paid for. Docks were lying on dry land for 50 yards before waters edge. The lake was not accessible had we wanted to enjoy the water. Beds were not comfortable. Furnishings adequate. Bathroom had a sticky, icky substance on the wall by the shower. Very disappointed for the price we paid.
It was perfect! Quiet location, beautiful lake, and Great cabin. We will want to stay in This cabin again. It's close to activities if you wanted and still away enough to enjoy outdoors and unwind!

Great view. Great dock. 15-20 minutes from town. Could use some upkeep on the exterior structures such as decks/stairs.
