We had a great time at Kiahuna Plantation. The location of this room is perfect, it’s right in the middle of all the action so you can see what’s going on outside on the great lawn but also gives you some privacy. The room is tucked in a little corner and the trees outside provide a great shady spot to sit outside but you can also sit in the sun so we enjoyed that a lot. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated how quickly Marie communicated w us whenever we needed anything. The room has a great sunset view as well which is one of the reasons we chose this spot. We took our kids and wanted a room where they can easily go outside play in the grass and go swimming and be able to be close by the room in case they needed a snack or anything. It’s also close to the walking path that takes you straight to the poipu athletic spot. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay here.

The location was great and the host was good on communication, but the condo has some deferred maintenance needs. The bedspread was old, the shower handle was falling off, and the provisions were minimal such as relatively few place settings. The washing machine also leaked water. While there were boogie boards in the closet, they are much cheaper than the boogie boards that were included with a neighboring condo my parents rented. It's a five star location but the three star rating reflects the relative sense of value for the nightly price.

I'm very sorry you had a 3 star experience. I hope you reported the shower handle and problem with the washing machine to Castle, our property management company. They have a maintenance crew to deal with problems our guests encounter. The bedspread was purchased in January 2025 so it shouldn't seem old.
