The location was very convenient to most everything we wanted to do while here in Colorado Springs. The place was clean with clear instructions on how everything worked. A welcome book with things to do and places to see. And a map on the wall to mark where we were from with a pushpin. Very cool to see where all the vacationers were from!!
We loved this little cottage and how close it was to all the shops and trails! We actually walked to dinner our first night and it was so nice! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area!
A friendly host, super responsive, with a lovely little bungalow that is well-supplied and cozy. Feels like it actually belongs to people, cool people at that. I enjoyed the grill and the hot tub, the comfortable bedrooms, and the kitchen.
Excellent experience, amenities, location, and stay. The cottage is quaint & well located to many stores, restaurants, and shopping. I would stay again! Teresa is a kind, caring & top notch host!
Had a wonderful stay in this quaint cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the host was quick to respond from the moment I booked until we left. Great for a quick short get away
Excellent stay! Cottage was clean and cozy. Teresa was very communicative with us and very helpful with recommendations and answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend!
The rooms were clean and tidy. The place is close to all shops and restaurants in that area. Although the space is going to give a retro feel but quite a good amount of modernization is done to meet the daily needs. Well maintained and very much recommended for a family vacation when you visit Pikes peak area.
This was such an amazing little cottage for me and my fiance. Very homey and vintage feel, very nice outside area to hangout. Perfect location for all things to explore around the town. Host gave great recommendations on what to do around Colorado Springs. Life changing experiences, we are so pleased with our visit!
It was quaint. We were a bit confused because the original listing had a picture of what we now learned was IvyWild School. When we booked, we initially thought it was like a bunch of condos located with retail and restaurants in the same building, as well as a hot tub close to walking trails. So we felt a bit misled. The hot tub is on property but closer to the second residence which shares the acreage. We passed on enjoying the only real amenity we had on our bucket list. Plus the host requested we put chemicals in after and stated we could be fined for not adhering to the rules. The outdoor seating lacked with makeshift benches that were dirty and not very comfortable. There really wasn’t anywhere on property to just sit comfortably with a morning cup of coffee or tea in the evening. The location itself was good and convenient to local shopping and dining, but we wanted something a little more remote than what we have back home. There is no dishwasher, so hand washing dishes is a must which is fine unless you personally didn’t wash it yourself and pulled it out from the cabinet and found it was dirty, which was less than stellar. The heater was set to come on and groaned most of the evening making sleep intermittent and one of the tower fans made an unsettling whirling sound which was nerve racking as well. All in all it served its purpose but unfortunately did not meet our expectations we had hoped for. The door knobs were cute and reminded me of my grandmother’s house.
We really liked this cottage because of the old charm that it had been built in 1923 yet very modernized by the owner. We also love the location, not far from stores, restaurants, etc. very close to I 25 in the Broadmoor hotel, which was our main attraction. We loved Some of the cool creative decor inside of the cottage (see pics) and how friendly the host was.

I loved the fact that the house was very organized and there was room for everyone who stayed. I think our stay was perfect and we enjoyed every bit of it!
We were pleased with the cottage and all that it offered for our stay. We enjoyed the nostalgic feel and look of the decor and we liked our time there. The cottage was comfortable and had plenty of room for the four of us (my husband, myself, our two sons-ages 24 and 13) and our two dogs. The beds were comfortable and I was so glad there were plenty of pillows. The sofa pull-out bed was a plus to accommodate our thirteen year-old. The sitting area out back with the fire pit was a great spot for me and the dogs to hang out each morning. We loved it. The cottage location was perfect for us as it was not far from the things we wanted to see and do. Teresa's communication before and during our stay was great. She gave suggestions for things to check out and replied quickly to any questions I had.
We truly enjoyed this house. It had everything you need and the host was very accommodating. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in Colorado Springs. You are close to so many great places to visit.
