In the heart of the picturesque Roman city of Weißenburg is this former defense tower converted into a holiday residence. The tower of the city fortifications from the 14th / 15th Century was expanded in 1860/61 into a residential house for a high-ranking official from Weissenburg. From 2015 it was comprehensively modernized in around one and a half years with great attention to detail and in close cooperation with the authorities in the preservation of historical monuments. And so it is now available to visitors to the Franconian Lake District as a holiday home
