If you`re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of big city Rio Vista at Lightning Bug Springs is the perfect destination; 15 acres of beautiful property nestled along the banks of the Dry Frio. Don`t let the name `Dry` fool you, though. There is a swimming hole just steps away. The property offers a swimming pool, hiking trails, a large fire pit, volleyball net, outdoor pavilion, tire swings, horse shoes, soccer goals and large shade trees for enjoying nature. In the evening watch the sun set while the deer graze in the field.
Rio Vista offers 3 bedrooms; 1 king, 1 Queen & 2 Bunkbeds and 2 full bathrooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, range top oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee pot. It has a living room with two couches and two chairs. The dining area has a large dining table for 6.
The home has central air & heat, washer & dryer and a smart tv.

Rio Vista is far enough from the noise of the main river to experience a peaceful retreat, but just minutes from Concan and its quaint restaurants, quirky shops or to float the Frio.

Lightning Bug Springs holds a very special place in our hearts as we watched our children grow up here, splashing in the river, dancing the night away under the pavilion or playing games with all of their friends in the bunkhouse. Our children are grown but the memories last forever.

When we were given the opportunity to manage Lightning Bug we were beyond excited. We want to watch other families make memories here too.
