The cabin was amazing, and the creek added to the peace and serenity. The driveway down was a little steep but the seclusion was worth it. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this quaint cabin getaway!
Very nice clean, private cabin. Love the porches, both front and back where you can enjoy a meal or a book - just you and the stream and the birds. The interior has been decorated by someone with a flair for antique designs. If you want peace and quiet in a place that will take you back to a simpler time, this is it.
This was a one night friends retreat for us. This little cabin was perfect. Away from everything, with cute little touches everywhere you looked. Absolutely on the list for another weekend get away. Owner was superb and quick to communicate. Reception for cell service is low, but hey that’s what you get away for, right. Beds were very comfortable. Thanks for the stay.
November 2017 I was diagnosed with several different cancers. It was the year of our 25th wedding anniversary. We thought we would never get to celebrate another. From that anniversary forward we've always picked somewhere quaint and quiet just to celebrate each other. This weekend we celebrated our 32nd anniversary here at Nolden Creek cabin. The cabin did not disappoint. Loved the secluded area, and the beautiful landscape. The cabin was decorated perfect. My husband and I look forward to visiting again. This was an awesome find, Nolden Creek Cabin is a keeper!!!
We absolutely loved staying here. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful time to unwind this is for you! The owners have done a wonderful job providing everything you might need. We can't wait to come back 😊
This cabin is beautiful and so is the property it’s on. Ric, the host is great and was very hospitable. Had an awesome time. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved it and would enjoy coming back.
Feels remote but only minutes from good food and about 45 min to an hr to Blowing Rock and Boone. Great place to disconect
, only had one bar of cell service and no wifi. But what's the point of going to a place like this just to stare at screens.
You will be blown away with how cozy, expertly decorated, and comfortable. You will not want to leave! No wifi and cell service spotty but ours worked fine. Whole shed of wood provided for the fireplace. Highly recommended!!

Why they chose this property
This property is adjacent to our "live in" home. We had a portion of the cabin built by friends from Tennessee in 2004 and did the rest ourselves. We take pride in our cabin and hope that our guests will see the love and work that has gone into it as well.
What makes this property unique
Creek surrounds quiet cabin. Hand built timber frame with unique details. Every part of the cabin has a story of its origin, Feel free to message during your stay to inquire.
