Two master suites with king-size beds plus one queen-size sleeper sofa, air conditioning throughout, tastefully renovated bathrooms, and higher-end beach essentials provide every comfort. Prep gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen and relax with family and friends in the large living room. Sip coffee and enjoy your meals amidst the tropical flowers on the private lanai that runs the width of the entire unit.

Our condo is located in a quiet and private spot directly across the parking lot from one of Grand Champions' two luxurious swimming pools. Favorite restaurants, shops, and beaches are at your doorstep and the condo has everything you need for a relaxing tropical getaway.

You'll most likely want a car to explore Wailea and other choice locations on Maui. While you can walk to a number of beaches from the condo, it's uphill coming back and you're in the tropics so heat can be a factor. You'll have one dedicated parking spot directly across from the unit. An additional car can be parked in any available "Guest" spot. Parking passes can be found on the entry table inside the unit upon arrival. The top half of the parking pass should live on your dashboard throughout your stay.

Entry instructions are provided via email a few days before your scheduled arrival on Maui, but we are of course always available to answer any questions in the meantime. We love sharing what we know about Maui with new visitors!

This condo was very relaxing! It was perfect for our 11 and 13 year-old. The space had a great flow with the rooms on opposite sides. Walking distance to Wailea Beach and the shops and so close to other beaches. Fully stocked kitchen and all the beach equipment we needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at an amazing condo! This place had everything we needed to experience the comforts of home away from home. We especially enjoyed the beach accessories - definitely made use of the snorkel gear, boogie boards, and the beach towels! The home was perfectly cleaned when we arrived, and there were spare supplies as needed (toilet paper). I also appreciated having shampoo/conditioner stocked - we failed to pack ours so that saved us! Location was PERFECT for all of the events and beach outings we had planned for our week...and we took full advantage of the pool and hot tub so closeby. Mahalo nui loa for an unforgettable stay!

We spent a week in this condo with 2 young kids and it was great. The bathrooms were both big enough to put a baby crib in. Both bedrooms were also huge with room for a crib if needed. AC worked great in both bedrooms, the AC in the living room was weaker but you didn't need it much. Kitchen nice. Quiet. Nice private lanai. Short drive to all the beaches. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again, especially given the nice size of all the rooms.

Absolutely Perfect!

Devin made sure we knew he was available at any time if we needed anything at all. Check-in was easy. They thought of every little detail...even a full pitcher of filtered water in the fridge! This house had a great location-close walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Location was a 5. Quiet community with a nice pool area. The house itself was clean and had some great amenities particularly in the kitchen, which is great. The lanai had a good amount of space, but we had rain. And while the lanai was covered it didn’t offer a great deal of protection. The condo itself was dated - carpets in particular and window air conditioning which was annoying to sleep with-so rate place a 3. But overall based on both location and place we rated it a 4.

Spacious, private and well stocked for an enjoyable stay!

This unit is quiet and private. It is also one of the larger 2 bedroom units we have had the pleasure of renting over the past 15 years. Devin ensures that the unit is well stocked for your duration with spices, cooking oil, toiletries, beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas and chairs. The kitchen has every device you could need to self-cater your stay: Vitamix blender for smoothies, coffee beans and grinder, martini mixer, etc. The lanai is indeed extra big for units at Grand Champions and a beautiful space to relax, read or play cards. The washer and dryer unit is always appreciated. The photos and description are very accurate. Devin responds to communications in a timely fashion; should the need arise. Would definitely recommend this unit for families or 2 couples; plenty of space for privacy.

Quiet Hideaway

Regarding the VRBO space at Grand Champions I'd say the positives were: Beach Stuff: 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach chairs and that cool insulated back pack were available for taking to the beach. Kitchen filled w/ plates, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Appreciated Ice packs for trip to the beach Beds: super comfortable Split AC unit in each bedroom and living room. My travel buddy likes it warmer and I prefer it cooler. This was great so we all had our perfect temp. Easy to get to streaming stations We enjoyed the comfy couch for evening TV watching Parking was very close to the condo Close to Island Market for quick meals Close to Monkey Pod Restaurant, a nice restaurant with a fun HAPPY Hour Walking path part of the way (part of it walking in street or on grass) really only negative was: Not much of a breeze through condo with windows and doors open We really enjoyed our stay

Listing doesn't do this unit justice - it's even better than it looks ! The unit is well located - close to property entrance & pool. Unit is better than "well stocked" with essential items for your stay. A nice coffee starter (ample filters too). It has all the spices and oils you'll needed for cooking. There's ample Klenex and toilet paper for your stay. Kitchen towels, beach towels and toys as well as all kitchen gadgets and appliances you'll need +. Large Lanai w/ table and chairs + W&D, fabric softner and detergent too. Dishwasher soap, trash bags - you don't have to bring, buy or worry about running out of any of these "essentials." Plenty of streaming/TV options too. Comfy beds and spotless clean too. Devin/Owner is super responsive and attentive - a true "Pro" who knows how to make your stay enjoyable. You have an issue or ?, he's on it. We'll be back, no doubt. We've been to Maui over 20 times and this is BY FAR the nicest unit we've stayed in, EVER ! Kudo's to Devin and his cleaning team ! Amazing Property and Incredible Owner!

Book this property asap!!!! The photos and description do not do it justice! The property owners are amazing! We booked a last minute trip and were so fortunate that this condo happened to be available. We were a party of 6-two adults and 4 children 18+ and the layout of the property was ideal. There are two master suites, one that has a queen sized bed that can be split into 2 twins plus a queen pull-out sofa. Each master suite has its own bathroom. There is a large kitchen and family room area located between the master suites and a large, oversized lanai that offers a view of tropical foliage and wildlife. The unit is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. It is quiet and located across from the complex pool and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owners thoughtfully curated their personal favorites (beaches, restaurants, etc) and added them to a binder that can be found in the unit-it's a must read! We have been traveling to Maui for nearly a decade and were surprised to learn of beaches we'd never been to (the owners are spot on-(Maluaka Beach is THE BEST!!!). One of the owners, Devin, was phenomenal! After arriving at the property we decided we'd like to extend our stay by a day and Devin responded to text messages even while he was traveling out of the country. We really appreciated his responsiveness-it was next level! This condo deserves 5 stars and we highly recommend booking a stay here-we know we'll be back for sure!

Great property. Super nice condo. But…

I have been thinking about this review for 2 weeks now and I am down to the final day. The condo property is top notch. They have two (heated!!!) pools. One for kids and one for adults (not nude, just quiet). The property is very nice. Parking is directly out front. The condo was extremely well taken care of. A couple of quirks. Toilets do not flush great. AC’s are on a 4 hour timer. The AC’s are basically 3 window units installed in the condo. Kitchen was a 10. Full spices and everything you would want. Never seen a condo so well stocked. Blenders, coffee marker, everything - except disposal. We even ran out of creamer and they had the instant stuff in the cabinet for the last day. Huge balcony - lanai. I do want to mention that this 2 bed unit had couches for 5 people - unusual. Security guard was very nice. The property Host was responsive which leads us to the one issue. Cleanliness. We did arrive a little bit early. This poor girl was sweating her ass off (don’t care if that offends people because she was working really hard). I opened the door about 30 minutes early to be met this poor girl trying to clean up after the last renters. I literally asked her if she needed anything. Anywho. Our friends were coming in the next day. Everything was perfect except carpet and tile. My wife and I decided that it would be easier if we would spend 15 minutes to clean instead of having the cleaner come back the next day. Again, the Host said he would send someone over. One reason I like condos is because there is no one coming into the place so I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and not have to leave for housekeeping. But first impressions are first impressions. Otherwise, this place is 5 stars across the board. And it was not the housekeepers fault. Again, she was working her ass off to allow us into the place. It was the prior renters. I wanted to write this because the place is so nice. I might return. But it is still managements job to make sure everything is good. Management failed as my wife moped the floors while I vacuumed to make the place they it should have been when we arrived. And I will say one more time… this poor house cleaner was upset, embarrassed and sweaty - we could not blame her. She was a 5 star plus.

Perfect Stay For Our Family

Our family took a much needed vacation and this condo couldn't have been better! Devin was very responsive and great to work with - his communication was great and check-in/check-out were super easy. You instantly feel the care he puts in to this property. The condo itself was very clean, plenty big and the location was fantastic. Both bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice and comfortable to stay in - we loved how updated everything was. The large lanai was also fantastic - it was great being able to wake up to that beautiful jungle view every morning. It was also very quiet. Kitchen was very well stocked with every tool and appliance you would need - having a rental with actual nice cookware and appliances is a plus. The condo complex itself is beautiful as well, with a real "Hawaii" feel. Pool and BBQ's were right across the parking lot and easy to get to so we could cook up a couple meals. Location wise, obviously it's not right on the beach but with a family and all the beach gear we would be driving anyway. A 3 minute drive puts you right at Wailea Beach. Devin has all the beach gear you would need as well - towels, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, fins, water shoes for the kids, and beach toys. What else could you need! Don't hesitate! Book this one if you're thinking about it.

Devin è un host esperto e molto gentile. La casa è incantevole, purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato solo 3 giorni a Maui ma avremmo voluto fermarci più tempo. La casa è ben organizzata, i letti molto confortevoli e grandi. Tutti gli utensili ed elettrodomestici per la cucina sono a disposizione Persino la caraffa per depurare l'acqua . Televisori in ogni stanza con Netflix YouTube e altri canali. Asciugatrice e lavatrice all'esterno utilissima. Tutte le attrezzature per il mare a disposizione. Maui un'isola incantevole.

Family vacation

We were happy to find a comfortable clean unit in a safe quiet area. The pictures in the listing were accurate. The condo has a spacious shaded lanai with a tropical view. We went to the beach when we wanted to see the sunset. The two bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms are at different ends of the condo which makes them feel private. It's also helpful when you have individuals with different sleep schedules. The beds were comfortable (on the soft side, which I like, but also tolerable to my family members who prefer firm mattresses). The main door has a key pad access. There is also another door nearby that provides an exit from the 2nd bedroom. These doors also have screen doors that allow you to get a breeze thru the unit if the lanai screens are also in place. We often preferred the breeze to using the a/c during the day. The nearby pool and hot tub areas are well-kept and close promptly at 10pm. It's about a 3/4 mile walk to the closest public beach access at Ulua Beach (no sidewalk for part of the walk but you can walk on the grassy edge, and there's one intersection with traffic lights). It's definitely easier to drive to the beach if you have lots of gear. One day we took along three of the beach chairs from the storage closet on our drive to the beach. The chairs were comfortable and kept us out of the sand. However, one of the striped chairs had a malfunctioning articulating piece which made it quite problematic to fold when we were ready to store it in the trunk of our car. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, spices, etc. It allowed us to easily prepare two meals a day at the unit. We also appreciated that there was a water pitcher with a filter in the fridge for better tasting tap water to fill our water bottles. Some groceries can be found in the expensive "Shops at Wailea" complex by walking down the hill. Foodland, Safeway, and Costco are farther-away options if you have a car. The host was responsive to our questions. We had difficulty getting the TVs to work... fortunately, we eventually got one operational. It would be helpful to have troubleshooting guidelines handy for such occasions. We enjoyed our stay on Maui-- thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful location

This was a wonderful property in the heart of Wailea. It was clean, spacious and had all the necessities. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels and coolers. We spent a lot of time at the beach and this came in handy. We enjoyed the pool in the late afternoons after a day of exploring Maui and found the adult pool on the other side of the complex. Thank you for sharing your beautiful rental with us!! We had an amazing time.

Lots of room. Central location, Quiet at night. Great Value!

We chose this unit for its location, its size, its large lanai and its value. It was exactly as its pictured. Its has two large private bedrooms each with its own private bathrooms, a sleek new granite kitchen with modern conveniences, a very large lanai, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. We enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the Lanai early each morning. In the evening after returning from dinner, we enjoyed quiet time on the lanai looking up at the stars - no people noises, no kids yelling from the pool, no sounds of road traffic. Although tucked away from the road , this unit is central to all the local beaches, shopping and fine restaurants - less than 8 minutes away. This unit was by far a much better value compared to the ocean-front options that were looked at. I highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking a convenient location in Wailea-Mekaena area, a quiet Villa for peaceful sleep at night and an excellent value in terms of overall cost. Come enjoy your Aloha in this VRBO unit, you will enjoy it!

Why they chose this property

We bought this Wailea condo with our friends Dan & Allegra because it's the one spot on Maui that we can all agree is just about perfect. We generally hit the beaches in the mornings (Maluaka is probably our favorite) and lounge by the pools in the afternoons. Most evenings are spent on the lanai with cocktails in hand, grilling fresh fish poolside, or across town at Maui Brewing in Kihei.

What makes this property unique

We chose Grand Champions #4 because it just works for everyone. The kids love the rectangular pool where they can play and be themselves and the adults love the other (quiet) pool where we can take things slow and catch our breath. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo and the lanai is big enough that everyone can be outside and comfortable at the same time. It's 2 mins to an excellent golf course, tennis courts are even closer, and the best beaches on the island are just 5 mins down the hill. There's no better spot anywhere on Maui!
