Stunning Holiday Accomodation with Private Pool for up to 12 People

Les Côtes is a stunning holiday location with Private Pool set in approximately 4 acres. For the sole use of one family group of up to 12 people it comprises of a farmhouse, converted barn, summer kitchen situated around a central courtyard for sole use of one holiday group.

Dating back to the early 1900’s, with foundations originating back to the days of Napoleon, it is constructed with the natural honey coloured stone, found only in the Perigordine region of South West France. It has recently been refurbished and restored to a high standard with modern facilities, whilst retaining its enchanting French architectural style.

Les Côtes is situated in a small hamlet of Pauliac in the commune of Gabillou, a small village, in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in Southwestern France.

This region is centred around the beautiful ancient town of Perigueux, within easy reach, which has spectacular farmland and is known for its fine cuisine.

The Dordogne is famous for its Bastide and Market Towns, as well as many pretty villages, caves, river and 1,000 chateaux.

We moved to France from the UK in 2018 having spent many happy years on holiday in the beautiful Dordogne.

Our first year was spent developing Les Côtes into a stunning holiday location refurbishing the Farmhouse including installing two new wet rooms, one being en-suite. A new 10 by 4 metre Chlorine Free Pool with large patio plus solar shower has been built.

Residing in the adjacent and refurbished Petite Maison we are discreetly available to assist our holiday guests if required.

We look forward to welcoming you to Les Côtes where you can be assured of an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Why they chose this property

Situated in the hamlet of Pauliac in the peaceful countryside of the Perigord Noir, Les Côtes Pauliac provides an ideal base from which to visit the many attractions of the Dordogne e.g. Castle Nord, Chateau Hautefort, Market Towns such as Sarlat and Perigueux, the World Heritage site of the Lascaux caves and more.

Supermarkets are within easy reach at Thenon and Excideuil. A small village store is just 4km away at St Orse. A Boulangerie is 10 Minutes drive at Sainte Eulalia d’Ans. Further afield at Trélissac (30 minutes drive) is a large commercial collection of hypermarkets and specialist retail outlets.

We recommend a visit to the underground caves / boat ride at Padirac and the Lascaux IV caves/visitor centre at Montignac. In the summer months you should book your visits on line before travelling to France as availability can be busy.
