Pros:• Great location. I walked around downtown, and frequented Lower Park. It's a lovely neighborhood with wide streets and tons of trees.• The fan in the living space and the shade around the bungalow kept the temp really manageable without having to blast AC on the 92 days I was here. • It's comfortable and cute inside. Great for my solo lounging activities. The theme/decor is fun and adds dimension, and I appreciate the various spaces to put stuff (shelf, trunk, dresser, etc), and room to spread out. There are plenty of hangers in the closet, surfaces in the bathroom to lay out your things, and hooks in the kitchen for towels and bags. Nice bath products, dish soap, linens, and furniture. I'm a bit smitten with that panther coffee table . Also the Chico tap water tastes way better than we have down in Santa Cruz.Cons/Notes:• The AC unit in the bedroom is not the most quiet, so bring earplugs if you're noise-sensitive. The windows in there open to a busy-ish corridor with neighbor and street noise, and being on ground level I didn't feel comfortable leaving them open overnight. So temp control in the bedroom was an ongoing challenge. • Shaded street parking was great; however, a low-hanging clutch of leaves/stems left minor scratches on my car paint, something to watch for.• The sheer curtains in the living room are great for ambiance but not the best for privacy. I absolutely loved my time at the Jungle Bungalow and hope to return!
