Facing the Basque-Béarn Pyrenees mountain range, the Sarraude estate is nestled in the heart of a 36-hectare private, unspoiled natural property of woods and meadows, with various walking trails laid out just for you. This independent cottage is a characterful house dating back to 1663, fully renovated, combining old-world charm with modern comforts. Private swimming pool, open from 10 am to 10 pm during the warmer months (May to September, weather permitting). Unheated, salt-water, generously sized at 13m x 6m with a flat bottom 1.20m deep. Secured by a roller shutter. On-site, the owners' residence and their equestrian center (10 horses) will not disturb your privacy (separate access). On the ground floor: - Well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer). - Living room with a cozy wood-burning stove, smart TV with Orange TV channels and Netflix. Fiber optic Wi-Fi internet connection. - Bathroom (walk-in shower, double vanity, toilet, washing machine). Separate toilet. - 1 bedroom (1 queen-size bed). Home office space. Baby equipment available upon request. Upstairs: - 1 spacious bedroom with games (4 single beds that can be joined to make double beds upon request) - 1 master suite (1 queen-size bed) with private bathroom - Separate toilet. Beds made upon arrival, towels provided. Cleaning fee: €80. Oil heating is extra (€10/day flat rate). Firewood is extra. Unfenced grounds, private terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers. Visits to the horses at the equestrian center are only possible in the presence of the owners. Please supervise your pet: other animals live on the premises and the property is partially fenced. Salies-de-Béarn is 5 km away: thermal baths, golf course, casino, shops, restaurants, designer boutiques, and a spa and wellness center. The ocean is 65 km away.
