About the host
Hosted by Joanna Butler
We live & work on a tiny wine farm, producing Pinot Noir, just outside Plettenberg Bay, a small coastal town along the Southern Coast in South Africa. We have two cottages on the farm, a burgeoning veggie patch and many rescue dogs.
Why they chose this property
That Place is a comfortable space to unwind & relax - swim in the pool, take a sauna, have a braai (BBQ for non-South Africans), or just sit out on one of the decks with a book, you can even watch the elephants pottering about across the valley. It's just a gentle space for a lovely holiday.
What makes this property unique
We are right in the heart of the Garden Route, with all its attendant attractions, whether it's wine tasting in the Plett winelands, animal interactions you'd like, or walks through the various nature reserves, or the beach and the aquatic animals, lovely restaurants, golf, bungy jumping, shopping and arts & crafts ... there is literally something for everyone.
