We were in town for a football tournament. There were 5 adults, 6 children plus a puppy and room for everyone!

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Prop Mgr harassed us over last tenants belongings, exposed nails in cabinets, old, dirty bedding
I started receiving calls at 9am the day of check in from the manager asking when we planned to check in. Check in is listed at 3pm, so that’s what we planned. He asked if we could wait until after 5pm because the people before us left their belongings and they worked until 5pm. He said he was trying to figure out how to get their belongs out of the house, (not our problem and we shouldn't have been bothered with it) and might need more time. He asked me to text him when we were on our way. I did, and he said it had been cleaned and was ready. Then, he hounded me as I was arriving about clothes that were left there. He asked me to check every closet while I was on the phone with him to verify the clothes were not left behind. He then said "well then I am going to have to fire my cleaning ladies". I looked and looked, nothing was in the closet. He hung up. Then he sent me several text messages while I was cooking dinner. Because I didn't immediately respond, he called me. He said "I've been texting you. I need the clothes out of the front room, they are on their way to get them" again, not my problem! I was trying to be nice, it got out of control! We found them in the front dresser, not closet. He sent me a list and expected me to verify everything was there, that his cleaners lives depended on it?! What I found the clothes he wanted, and he asked me to put them on the porch, where our children were sitting, for the strangers to come pick them up. So unprofessional!
Side table in living room near fireplace and the table between the beds in master bedroom are extremely shakey to the point that we were afraid to touch them for fear they would fall.Found 2 dried dog turds , one on rug in the front bedroom and one behind the recliner by the curtains ,.Listed as having a grill , but it is so worn out you can't use it.
The place was very comfortable and super nice. Plenty of beds for you and your traveling circus (that’s a joke but yes plenty of places to sleep). Will likely stay again next time we come back to Midland/Odessa. The property host is very communicative also.
For the cost and convenience, this is a nice place to stay. We were there for only one night visiting family in Midland, and we had my older in-laws, sister-in-law's family of 4 (including a 4 year old and infant) and my family of 5 (kids aged 12, 7, and 3). There was plenty of space for us all and everything was clean and nicely decorated. There were some negatives though - the kitchen cabinets are literally falling apart, and the refrigerator had no handle. No headboards are actually attached to the beds, so they rattle and bang the walls when you get in bed. Mattresses are old, but were fine for one night. There is a TV in every bedroom, but the one in the living room where we all gathered ONLY had access to DirecTV, and that was connected to the owner's personal account. There were already too many people logged in to that account elsewhere, so we weren't able to use the TV in the living room at all. We were able to use the one out on the patio, but it was a cold evening in December. Neighborhood is safe and easy to get to. Again, for a single stay overnight in a town where the hotel prices are really high, this house met our needs and worked just fine. It was clean, though shabby in places. It's definitely an older house.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Space was great. Host was communicative, just enough. This home has hosted alot and you can tell, nothing to keep me away a second time. She just needs a little lipstick.
I don’t know where to start!!! Mr. Palma was so accommodating to our family!!! I lost my brother and traveled to Midland for the services with my parents and family. My father is in a wheelchair and my mother does not move well. Mr. Palma called me immediately to help situate our stay. Not only was he absolutely caring, but, he also had the home decorated for Christmas earlier than he had planned so that we could in a sad situation feel the joy as well with our family. Such an amazing and beautiful person and home!!! We will always rent from this owner and we will soon rent this very home again so we can fully enjoy it. Such a peaceful and inviting neighborhood and a home that feels like home! Thank you so very much!!! We are forever grateful for your kindness, loving words and for sharing your beautiful home with us!!! May you blessed abundantly!!!
The home was spacious and clean. Freshly painted. Furniture and accessories were new. Our family enjoyed our stay and would gladly return to this property in the future.
The gentleman we rented from was beyond corteous. Spacious rooms. The yard was a little smaller than I expected

The house was very dirty. The sheets were stained! Walls were filthy. Oven and fridge were filthy as well. I went out and bought a mop and cleaning supplies just so we could at least have some peace of mind. There was an open electric outlet. A heD board coming out from the wall. We complained to expedia. They did nothing. We complained to the owner and all he offered was to bring by more cleaning supplies. We should have been given a pertial refund. We were stuck staying in the house.
Because of reservation issues on their end, property manager called, with plenty of time, to inform us that a new and upgraded rental was available for our use at no extra charge. It was totally on them. The replacement home was AMAZING! No complaints. Property Manager was totally professional and very friendly. If you're going to Midland, TX, this is the way to go.
