The Eagles' nest is a great place. We have been to Sapelo several times, but this time we traveled with our dogs, so the property being pet friendly was a bonus. Overall a great place

Our stay was FANTASTIC!!!! Stephan was very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our trip. The house was clean, well-stocked, and the perfect place for me and my family to relax for a few days. We rented a vehicle and ordered a couple of dinners from the Bailey's, which helped us not have to pack as much on the ferry. Our favorite place was Calbretta Beach. We did not see one single person the entire day we were out there! We will be back!!!!!

Great place- had everything we needed! We regret not ordering a local meal and tour & will add that next time. Some information in listing was slightly outdated (gas grill in picture was no longer there, but we just used charcoal). Price for car rental is now higher and host said he would update that information.

We enjoyed our stay at the Eagle’s Nest!The house was clean and charming. All the contacts that were share with us by Stephan (were very reliable). The Island was enjoyed by all of us. The three hour tour answered so many questions our questions about the island and then we explored on our own. The island people were super nice, friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the island for no other reason than to decompress that is the place to go!we had our meals catered and ate at the Minnow Trap which was very good. Also you must have a minnow trap slap!

Great home, great host, great location! We've stayed at several other lovely homes on Sapelo, but Eagle's Nest is far and away our favorite! Highly recommended!
