We enjoyed our stay in this rustic one room cabin. The cabin was as described, it is the lower level of a cabin in which the owner lives above. The owner Jeff greeted us upon checking in, he notified us in advance of how to access the place, with very detailed directions in the area. So it was easy to find. There is also a separate bathroom, which is good size with a walk-in shower and access to the laundry room with the washer and dryer if needed as well. There is a nice size deck that leads out to the backyard with a sitting area And it’s very quiet wooded area. It is conveniently located near the West entrance of glacier park, less than 15 minute drive to the entrance. There is a grocery store right around the corner, it’s about 20 to 25 minutes from Kalispell airport. So it’s a very central location. Jeff is very knowledgeable about the area having lived there for over 40 years, and he made some good recommendations on where to go in the park and also a very scenic drive for us to take in the area. He was also very kind and offered us the use of his bear spray so that we did not have to go by our own. Very important to have in this neck of the woods! The cabin is very rustic, but clean and quiet and had everything we needed. There is a coffee maker, a dorm size refrigerator with separate freezer and a microwave. There are a few microwave plates and coffee mugs, and plastic utensils to use as needed We were happy with our stay and appreciated our hospitable host!
