Welcome to Quiet Oaks- a modern, family-friendly Outer Banks retreat tucked into a peaceful Kill Devil Hills neighborhood, close to both the beach and the sound.

Spend your mornings biking through the neighborhood, your days at the beach, and your evenings relaxing in the spacious fenced backyard. Public beach access and the sound are each about a 10-minute walk away, and neighborhood walking and biking trails make it easy to explore without getting in the car.

Inside, the home is bright, comfortable and designed for families and groups to spread out. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a separate lower-level living space with its own kitchenette, there's plenty of room to enjoy time together while still having space to unwind.

We make beach days easy: guests have access to bikes, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach wagon, coolers, and beach toys- so you can pack less and enjoy more.

After the beach, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower, relax in the fenced backyard, play yard gams, hangout in the hammocks, or settle in for a comfortable evening at home.

You'll also be close to restaurants, coffee shops, mini golf, shopping and many of our favorite OBX activities, while coming home to a quiet setting away from the busiest areas.

Quiet Oaks is the kind of place we love for an Outer Banks vacation- close to everything, but peaceful when you're ready to slow down.

We're a family who genuinely loves the Outer Banks and everything that comes with it- beach days, surfing, biking, exploring local spots and slowing down by the water. We created Quiet Oaks as a place our own family would love to stay, and we enjoy sharing our favorite part of the OBX with other families. We've tried to make the home comfortable, well-equipped and easy to settle into so guests can spend less time worrying about the details and more time enjoying their vacation.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this neighborhood because it gives us the best of both sides of the Outer Banks. Quiet Oaks sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, giving the home a peaceful, tucked-away feeling while still being close to everything. We can walk or bike toward the beach in one direction and head to the sound in the other, while still coming home to a peaceful residential setting away from the busier main road. The neighborhood has walking and biking trails, and we love being able to bike to nearby activities like mini golf. It's also centrally located in Kill Devil Hills, making it easy to explore Nags Head, Manteo, Duck and the rest of the Outer Banks.

What makes this property unique

Quiet Oaks combines the space and privacy of a true vacation home with many of the extras families normally have to bring or rent. Guests can enjoy a spacious fenced backyard, bikes, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach wagon, coolers, beach toys and yard games- all provided with the home.

The 4-bedroom, 3-bath layout also includes a separate lower-level living area with its own kitchenette, giving families and groups extra room to spread out while still vacationing together. Add in walkability to both the beach and the sound, an outdoor shower and a quiet neighborhood setting, and Quiet Oaks offers something that's increasingly hard to find in the OBX: convenience, space and a relaxed residential feel all in one place.
