Cabin 2 at Runestone Hideaway is the perfect getaway for families. Large covered porch with 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and recliner to sneak away for some quiet reading. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and 2 twins beds. The bathroom has a shower and large garden tub. Large open kitchen, dining and living room. Games and toys are located in the armoire. Large fire pit area to gather around for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. Feels quiet and secluded with spectacular views and close to hiking. Check out Heavener Runestone Park just steps away.

Weekend getaway

Lovely cabin

Beautiful cabin that was perfect for our family of three. The hosts have thought of everything, from the endless hot water heater to the spiffy Keurig machine with good coffee on hand. We loved being way up above the town, dark skies and fresh breezes. This is a really comfortable place to stay.

Great Cabin

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. Quiet/peaceful area and had everything we needed. You can walk to Runestone Park. Great little weekend get away for us!

Peaceful and great view

i have stayed there many times and always clean. Host is always available if needed. I will definitely stay there again as it is my favorite place to chill.

Last minute holiday

The cabin was affordable, cozy and quiet. It had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. We were unable to watch TV because we don’t have a Roku account but we didn’t mind at all! We would stay at this cabin again.

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for our two dogs and appreciated the bowls for them. Nice and warm, close to the park. Cabin was neat and tidy! Thanks for sharing this cabin!

Peaceful and well stocked cabin

The cabin was in a great location and stocked with everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the large fire pit. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The walking distance proximity to the Heavener Runestone was also pretty cool.

This is a cute, cozy cabin in the woods with amazing views. This was a fabulous place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Nice and clean place. Easy to communicate with the owner who is super nice! We loved our stay!

Beautiful Place

We had a beautiful day. It was so nice to see the leaves turn at the property. We really never had to leave. Close to town and easy to access Talihina Drive.

Decompress

Some much needed stress and decompress time away from everything, no WiFi no cable , just unplug and unwind , cabin is awesome with everything you need ( well could use a knife sharpener and a meat thermometer ) other than that absolutely loved every minute.

Great Cabin!

Stayed 2 nights while visiting some friends. Awesome little find! We had 4 adults and 4 kids under the age 5 and there was plenty of room. Great covered patio with a nice view and easy access to Runestone Park. The cabin had everything we needed including some toys for the kids to play with. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town!

Home Away!

Easy to be cozy and comfy! One thing to be aware of: No WiFi. Not a negative in and of itself, but keep it in mind! I just drove down to the coffee shop in town to check in with my students; easy peasy. Everything you may need is there making the adventure far less stressful. Toys and games brought fun during crazy weather!

Everything was perfect about the property. It was located in a nice, wooded area with large deck to enjoy even when it rains. It was also tastefully decorated, very clean, beds were comfortable, and it was also well-equipped with coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, plates, cups, cutleries and washer and dryer. It was also located within minutes' walk to Heavener Runestone Park. We enjoyed the campfire and making some smores at the firepit the two nights we were there. There was some issue with the washer and dryer, and we notified Laura immediately where she was quick to respond and quickly looked into it. She was also very nice to offer us to do laundry in another close by unoccupied cabin, but since we are leaving, we decided it was not necessary. The host was amazing in every way. She prepared a warm welcome pack for the whole family and has responded promptly to all the messages and text before we were there. We loved all the details she put into the cabin. So glad we get to meet her before we leave. It is another home away from home. Both our kids said they loved this cabin. Highly recommended! Thank you SO much Laura! We appreciate you! :))

Beautiful cabin.

This was our second stay in this cabin. We liked it so much the first time that we brought my parents back for a visit. Beautiful cabin, beautiful location, and wonderful little "perks" in the cabin.

Great for the area!

Heavener is a very small town that unfortunately has considerable poverty. That said, this is a great property situated within walking distance of the Runes Park, and only 1/2 hour away from great hiking opportunities at Winding Stair, great picnic spots (at Winding Stair or Cedar Lake). You can also take an afternoon (like we did) and drive to Talahina for Ice Cream and take your time exploring the amazing Hwy 1 all the way to Queen Welhelmina Lodge.
