Robes and slippers are provided for the hot tub and shower. End your night sitting by the fire. Super close to the lake and river! Conveniently located minutes from New Braunfels, Wimberly, San Marcos, San Antonio and Austin. Tour our wineries and distilleries to make your trip complete. Don't forget to look at our concierge services. If you need a private driver to a concert, etc....let us know ahead of time so we can arrange. There is an extra fee for this. We hope you enjoy your stay in our cabin in God's secret paradise.

TLDR: We found dried dog feces under the bed to tepid apologies from the host, the hot tub was dirty, and the outdoor shower came with limited instructions. Not worth the price.The cabin itself, on paper, is wonderful. We were excited at the novelty of the outdoor shower, the hot tub of course was something we looked forward to, and the cabin itself didn't feel claustrophobic, more cozy. Perfect for a romantic Hill Country weekend. Again, on paper. In reality, the lack of basic cleanliness cast a shadow on our stay. We arrived late the first night to find that despite the cover, the hot tub water had a grimy film and floating particles. Worse, the next morning when looking under the bed we found dried dog feces, a used water bottle, and a thick carpet of dust. The owners were tepidly apologetic, assuring us they had followed their standard sanitation procedure; one that apparently did not include checking under the bed.The outdoor shower is gas powered, and within is hung a short set of instructions. To paraphrase, something like "turn on gas, turn on water spigot, adjust pressure and heat with knobs". The knobs were useless and after fiddling with it I couldn't get the water to a temperature anywhere between boiling and freezing, so we took a cold shower. Gas would also occasionally leak from the boiler to fill the small space, causing a safety hazard.We don't recommend this place, especially at the price. Though, the concierge services and charcuterie are very nice

We are disappointed to read this review, as we take great pride in our cabin and the experience we provide our guests. We went above and beyond with you and your concierge. First, this is a dog-friendly property, which is clearly part of the experience we offer. We take cleanliness seriously and have established cleaning procedures in place to prepare the cabin for each guest. Regarding the hot tub, we personally handle its preparation as the owners before every guest arrives. The tub is completely emptied, cleaned, refilled with fresh water, and treated with new chemicals. We take this process seriously to ensure it is properly prepared for each stay, so we are uncertain what may have caused the condition described in this review. We do take before and after pictures for our records. Would be happy to foreard that to you at any time. As for the outdoor shower, specific operating instructions are provided for guests to follow. We have not previously received complaints about guests being unable to operate it, and we regret that You had difficulty using it. You should have brought it to our attention so that it could have been resolved. Any concern regarding the safe operation of an amenity is taken seriously and were reviewed. There is NO boiler and nothing working improperly. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and memorable Hill Country getaway, and our consistently excellent guest ratings reflect the experiences of many visitors who have enjoyed our property. While we recognize that every guest’s experience is different, we stand behind the care and attention we put into maintaining our cabin and its amenities.

There is also a photo of the driveway, the outdoor shower, and multiple photos of the interior of the cabin. These features were fully disclosed prior to booking and are difficult to miss. I absolutely loved the shower!. I think it was the best part. i enjoyed our stay. DO NOT go down the driveway if you have a car. Your car will scrape really bad. Other than that the place is perfect!!! Would love to return for the winter. I also recommend the coffee shop thats down the road. They have coffee iced cubes. Yummm so your coffee wont be watering down

It was very cute and cozy. Enjoyed our time there. Only slight downfall was the mattress which was way to firm but that obviously is a personal preference. Overall we loved our time there.
