Host was excellent with communications and always available to answer questions. We were there to fish Georgetown Lake for the week and the cabin was an excellent retreat after a long day on the lake. We are prepared to go back next year if possible.

Annual July week long trip to Georgetown Lake

The place was outstanding for my son-in-law, grandson and me to use after long days fishing on the lake. It fit our needs very well and if available will be a go to cabin for us next year.

the get away

the house was beautiful, plenty of room... my family from California really enjoyed the stay there. Fishing was awesome and BBQing was great. we had a night camp fire there and it was very relaxing. thank you.

Wedding Weekend Stay

The only reason to dock a star was that the house smelled like cigarette smoke on the inside but it wasn’t too bad once we opened the windows. Other than that, it was a cute cabin in a great neighborhood. We even saw three moose in the front yard one morning. Great place to stay!

Georgetown Stay

A few disappointments. Doors in upstairs bedrooms would not close properly. The outside door lock did not work very well, and the oven was a mess. Nice area but not sure that I would stay there again!

Hi John, thank you for your feedback. We always want to know how we can better accommodate our guests to make them feel more comfortable. We are fixing the doors in the next month once the busy season is over. The oven has been deep cleaned and a liner put on the bottom so that if guests leave a mess it’s easier to clean up. All the best.

The property was great. We were close to Georgetown lake, we saw a moose mom and baby. It was close enough to Anaconda and Butte. We loved it.

Ice Fishing on Georgetown Lake

The location was great with plenty of parking, beds for sleeping and an open floor plan with kitchen/living room connected. As with many rentals we did not have many sharp knives; otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, actual glassware and some baking pans/cooking utensils. There were several lamps/fxitures with lights burnt out or flickering and we replaced them with what we could find. I would recommend going throughout the house and replacing all CFL's and Incandescent lamps with A19 LED's using a 2700K/3500K color temperature when possible. We did have a bit of a scare when the boiler lines startled everyone awake at 4am with the sound of rushing water. I would recommend you have a plumber come out and bleed the air out of your boiler lines. It sounded like a water line break or flood of rushing water and we looked throughout the house but did not find anything. Really comfortable couches and beds. Would stay again if the boiler issues were fixed. Thank you!
