Beautiful, Majestic Log Cabin Large Game Room and Lake View
Note: It is dificult to get a boat trailer into this location. Jet skiis would be ok.
This is an absolutely gorgeous cabin with an incredible view of Fort Gibson Lake. It has a huge wrap around deck that encircles the cabin. This is the definition of quiet and secluded. You will likely see Bald Eagles, ducks, geese, deer, and much more. You will be amazed at the solitude of this location. We have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to make our guests feel at home.
All linens are furnished and you will have access to the washer and dryer with detergent furnished. The kitchen is completed stocked with everything you will need except food. We have games for the kids and a pac n play for the baby. We have 2 porch swings, patio tables, Corn Hole, and DVDs. We have high speed internet throughout the cabin but we do not have cable tv.
This is a 3 level A-Frame Log Cabin. You will enter on the main level with no steps to the deck that totally surrounds the house. The main level has a large living area, furnished kitchen, dining area with a large table, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. If steps are a problem you would not need to leave this level to enjoy your stay. The East end of the house is glass from top to bottom giving it an unbelievable view of the lake from all 3 levels. The outside of the main level is completely encircled by a spacious deck where you can gather for meals or watch the sunrise over the Lake.
The lower area is all open and is an 800 sq. ft. game room and gathering room. We have a Foosball table, game table, Ping Pong Table, 55" flat screen smart TV, DVD, and several board games. You will have access to the washer and dryer on this level and there is also a full bath. You can exit this area at ground level facing the Lake.
The upper level has a large living area with 2 very comfortable sleeper sofas, 55" flat screen smart TV, full bath with tub, and a 3rd bedroom.
This log cabin has 3 king beds, and 3 very comfortable queen sleeper sofas.
We advertise this cabin for a maximum of 8 guests and we mean a maximum of 8 guests. Please do not exceed this number or you will be asked to leave. We could allow more than 8 but we do not want more than 8 in our home.
The Lake is about 100 yards below the cabin. Depending on the level of the lake there may or may not be access to the rocky beach area. It is about a 25-degree angle to the lake, and we do not recommend making the trip to the water if you are not in good physical condition. The land between our house and the lake is Corp of Engineer land and you can walk across it to the lake.
It is 15 minutes from Wagoner or Muskogee where you will find Wal Mart, great Restaurants, and several national fast food chains.

I am sorry you didn't find the access to the lake. The only way to get to the lake from this cabin is straight down the clearing in front of the cabin. There is no specific trail. For swimming access you need to go to the state park just 5 minutes away. However during your visit the lake was 25 feet above normal and there is no beach area. Glad you had a good time in our cabin and hope to hear from you in the future.

Memorial Day weekend
I rented this cabin and invited friends and family to come visit. it was very comfortable even with the couple stormy nights we had. it is very roomy and each bedroom has its own exit door for those who like to go into town and not disturb anybody coming back. there’s lots of wood laying around for the fire pit the driveway circles the cabin, making it easy to pull a boat in and park it. The location is just outside of a state park, which makes it easy to be in the water in minutes. A very streamline set up. There were no issues.

Roomy and quiet
Spent memorial weekend with friends, king size beds in each bedroom put this property at the top of my search. Lots of cabin decor in every room, even a bobcat to keep us safe. Cabinets are full of kitchen supplies and just about everything we needed.
Huge fire pit was great, so much kindling supplied by the almost full canopy of tall trees made for easy fire prepping. Plenty of parking around the cabin made it easy to park the 24ft boat. With boat ramps within minutes made it effortless to be out on the lake. We enjoyed the full wood deck which wrapped around the cabin, one side is level with the driveway making it easy for wheelchairs or anything else on wheels. There are labels everywhere and easy to follow but not extensive instructions for checking out. The basement was a nice play area and has an area to go to in case a pesky Oklahoma tornado just happens to visit.

Beautiful Lakeside Home
We enjoyed our stay very much. Love sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and rocking and watching the wildlife. The grandkids had a great time. Loved the recreation room and laughed a lot. The house is very comfortable and clean.

It was a great stay! The only draw back was spider webs all over porch furniture. Around the porch area and they should make sure the pull outs are cleaned better. Over all it was a nice place.

I was sad to see this 4 star review. This cabin is literally in the middle of the woods with a forrest on all 4 sides. There arelots of spiders in the woods and it is impossible to prevent spider webs arount this deck. If we didn't have a beautiful deck that surrounds this cabin on all for sides then we could control the spider webs. We have this cabin treated on a schedule and we still have a few spider webs. A web may literally appear overnight. The webs are actually easy to remove with a broom or even a stick. We live an hour from this cabin and it would be impossible to check for spider webs the day a guest arrives. We have 3 king beds 3 queen sleepers and 2 futons in this cabin and evidently our housekeeper didn't open and check one of the sleepers. Please read all of the 5 star reviews of our home.
So if you are concened about spider webs on the deck of a beautiful cabin in the woods this may not be the cabin for you.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing
We stayed 4 nights. The owners really thought of everything as far as accommodations. Very clean. We were happy with the size of the cabin. It was bigger than we thought it would be from the pictures. Decorated perfect for cabin/lake life. Good view of the lake. Hill down to the water is not for the faint of heart. Owner communicated quickly when we had issues with the upstairs A/C. Coffee maker is not for pods so bring canned and filters (although I think they had that too). When we asked our kids what they liked best about the trip they all said the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

The property has incredible views of Lake Gibson and you can hike down to the lake. The deck is THE place to have morning coffee, but is also perfect for outdoor dining. Truly, the owners have thought of your comfort and pleasure. The cabin comes equipped with everythibg needed to cook, it is comfortable. Nice entertainment ... the game room downstairs was a hit. Beds are comfy. Truly 5+ stars and I would stay here again.

Wonderfule Weekend
My wife and I spent 4 nights at this property with another couple. We truly enjoyed our stay and the host was accessible and responsive when we had questions. The house was very clean and had everything we might need for our stay. My only criticism... there were some large trees partially obstructing our view of the lake. But I understand that there is nothing that the owners can do since the Army Corp of Engineers regulates any trimming or cutting of trees. It is remote enough to be peaceful but close enough to town so it's not a big deal. If you are going to be in this area, I highly recommend taking a look at this property.

Perfect Getaway
My (grown) kids and I stayed for a week at this wonderful house on the lake. They are 23, 20 (and his fiancee), and 13. The house was perfectly clean and stocked, spacious, and was in a wonderful location. We walked down to the lake, sat on the porch and drank tea (wonderfully shaded in the morning and evening), became ping pong pros in the basement when it was too hot outside, and watched TV and movies when we weren't in our boat on the lake. We got a slip 5 minutes away so we went from the house to the water in only 10 minutes.
We made so many great memories and really appreciate the opportunity to get the kids away for quality time together before my 20 year old ships off to the Air Force soon. It was so spacious and peaceful - I will go back.
One of the best parts of the stay - one of the AC units went on the fritz one morning (100+ degree days). We didn't even notice yet, but owners Larry and Joan were notified by the Wi-Fi thermostats. Techs came out and fixed it within a few hours and our day never missed a beat. The courtesy and amazing responsiveness was incredible. They are wondeful hosts!

We started with nightly rental in 2003 before Airbnb existed. We started with a condo in Branson and worked up to 8 log cabins in Branson. We didn't go to any rental seminars to learn the business. We knew how we wanted to be treated and have always treated our guests like our place was indead their "home away from home". We have stayed in rentals where we had to go to Wal Mart and spend a couple hundred dollars just for the basics. Here is some of the things we decided should be in you home when you arrive. Coffee and filters, kleenex, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, zip loc bags, aluminum foil, note pads, sharpees, salt and pepper, and more. We like to say we furnish everything but food. We currently have 4 log cabins in Branson and 3 Lake Homes on Fort Gibson Lake, Oklahoma. Many of our guest consistently return time after time. Once you stay with us you don't need to look any further. Thank you for considering our place.
