Since 1997, we had many wonderful customers and repeat customers, and we are thankful for your business and your loyalty.
This property is very unique among other Girdwood Alaska accommodations, it has 2 units separated by breezeways and a sauna area.
Unit A has 2 bedrooms and a loft with one and half bathrooms.
Unit B has 2 bedrooms and a loft with one bathroom. (VRBO.com/2264920)

Your private rental Glacier Creek Lodge Unit A accommodates comfortably sleeps 6-7 guests, 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen. Great setting for a romantic getaway, skiing, hiking, family gathering.
With a natural creek running beneath the lodge, you won't find this kind of affordable warmth and luxury anywhere else near Alyeska or in Girdwood Alaska.

I grew up in Niigata, Japan. It is the place in Japan where skiing was introduced in 1911. My father was the ski instructor, and I started skiing when I was only 3 years old. The Hotel Alyeska was built and operated by Japanese company, I knew the name "ALYESKA" when I grew up in Japan but never thought I would live in Alaska until I met my husband John. He grew up in Dublin, Ireland, and he never skied before, but he loved beautiful snowy Girdwood and found a house potential as a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

My dream since high school was to own a B&B one day. We saw the open house sign 1997 on our drive to the hotel, and just took a look. The property had such special atmosphere with the sound of the creek so relaxing and calming! Build as a duplex, the two units are very private. They are connected by a breezeway and sauna area. We thought this property was the perfect place for our vacation home and for maybe running the B&B one day when we have more time.

What makes this property unique

The lovely sound of the creek is so relaxing- it creates a peaceful setting for your getaway.
The ski slope, restaurant and hotel are all walking distance.
There is also a soccer field across the street, that turns into a cross-country trail in the winter time. Great location!! Girdwood is the only resort for world class skiing in Alaska, and Glacier Creek Lodge is the perfect getaway!!
