Beautiful Monkey Island Lake Front Home - Private Dock & Extra Slip

Welcome to our family’s beautiful lakefront retreat.

When you walk in the front door, you’ll be immediately greeted by a cozy, spacious great room with 25 foot vaulted ceilings and wall to wall picture windows overlooking the water. You’ll see a grand staircase to your right leading up to a loft area on the second floor. The open floor plan includes a gourmet kitchen, designated dining area, massive living room, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a large walk-out basement.

The gourmet kitchen is complete with an expansive 10 foot granite island/bar perfect for gatherings, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, large apron sink with prep sink and everything else you could possibly want in your kitchen!

The living room has ample seating, 70" TV with YouTube TV cable, and cards and board games perfect for family time.

Large dining table with extra bar eating around the kitchen island. The living room flows out to an enormous deck and large fenced in backyard that is just steps away from the private swimming/fishing dock!

BEDROOMS
Master bedroom has a king size bed, complemented by wall to wall picture windows and a walk-out door to the deck. It also has an ensuite bathroom with a large tile shower.
Bedroom 2 has a king size bed, 50 inch TV, and an adjacent bathroom.
Bedroom 3 is located on the second floor and has a queen size bed and 2 twin beds and smaller tv. Perfect room for kids to have but fine for adults as well.
Bedroom 4 is located in the basement and has 2 queen beds and a bathroom across the hall.

BASEMENT
The walk-out basement is great for entertaining- it includes a TV projector screen, pool table, electronic dart board, foosball table, card table, dry bar, and laundry room.

OUTDOOR SPACE
The large wrap around deck includes a gas grill if you’d like to cook outdoors and 2 dining tables with seating. Below the deck is a spacious fenced yard that leads directly to the private dock. Dock includes an open boat slip for your use, plenty of room for fishing and even a diving board!

Family Birthday Getaway

We had a great trip! There is plenty there to keep all ages entertained and plenty of space in the home! The house had a beautiful view and the dock and water access was really convenient! They were amazing hosts and made checking in and checking out a breeze. The house was well stocked with everything you would need for a great getaway. We look forward to coming back in the summer!

Property was definitely in need of TLC

Kitchen was spacious but disorganized- several junk drawers and cabinets. Only ice maker in the lakehouse was in kitchen frigWe noticed what looked to be mold on ceiling - called prop mgr and was told they’d look into it. Railing held on by tape and rope, diving board hanging off dock, yard overgrown, cooling/heating inconsistencies

Great House and Location

This house was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Helen was attentive giving information before our arrival and checked to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there. It was a great location, right on the water. We loved having the boat dock to fish, swim and boat off of.

The home was spacious and comfortable, with very pretty views off the back of the house, nice fenced area between yard and water/ dock. The diving board off the dock was broken, we were not there during swimming season so this did not impact us. The gas grill did not work but there was a charcoal grill there. Overall a good experience.

Birthday weekend

We enjoyed very unseasonal cool weather in August but the water was still great. Grilled out, ordered pizza from Shebang, played golf at Shangri La and boated afterwards. The home was large and comfy. Grandkids fished and swam off the dock. Great family time. Long time grand lakers and prior homeowners so we love it there.

Our experience was great!! Communication is EXCELLENT! Property was everything we wanted! We fished, relaxed, used the fir pit, played games, ate, relaxed and fished some more! Well stocked house and very spacious! We hope to be again!!

amazing property

This property was amazing. The house was very large, clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed right on site. We had a family get together there was plenty of room for our family of 10 to sleep, play and relax without being in each others way. Furniture was very comfortable and property manager was very helpful. I would highly recommend this house!!

What can we say..this house is beautiful! Everything as promised. Plenty of room for all. Two bedrooms on main level, one is the master suite, and the other equally as big with bathroom next door. Kitchen would make even the non-cook happy. Everything you could need is also here. Pots, pans, tupperware, glassware, dinner plates, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, single serve and regular coffee makers, silverware, cookie sheets, the list goes on. Downstairs is another bedroom more like a hotel room but bigger. Then there is the games. Oh the games! Who knew we would all become pool sharks. There is also a foosball table, darts, every board game made, cards, poker, and cribbage. No one could ever say they were bored. There is also a washer and dryer and laundry detergent. Outside the deck faces the lake and there is a hightop table and chairs to sit and watch the sunset and grill. Also the house has an awning which helps shade all those windows! The air conditioner works great, the refridgerator/freezer has an ice maker that keeps up with us. Property manager Misty responded to all our questions and even stopped out with some paper towels as we couldn't find any. Although there is a dock, the owners do have their boats there and the kayaks are not for visiter use. We really enjoyed our time and hope to have time to spend here again. It was like staying at our family's house. So I mean it when I say stay here as you won't regret it.

Lakefront oasis

This property had everything you could ever want to allow you to relax and enjoy family and friends.the kitchen has two ovens and two microwaves along with all the kitchen essentials anyone would need. Bedrooms are well appointed and include TVs in three. Owner and property manager were very accessible to answer questions. We loved the back porch to hangout on and dock was great for fishing and swimming. We will be back!
