The property was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for easy access to Colonial Williamsburg and the campus of William & Mary. We will definitely plan on staying there again in the future!
The suite was very comfortable and clean. Small kitchen with cook-top was well-outfitted for fixing meals in and the suite was well located, close to the pool and game room areas. Close to everything in Williamsburg and a great place to relax and bring the family.
We originally booked our stay with plans to go to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. It was a short 10 min drive to both parks. We loved the resort so much that we chose to just stay on site 2 out of our 6 days! So much to do as a family, our 4 year old loved it! Highly recommend!
Property is located 20 minutes from Jamestown (beach!) & 20(ish) minutes from Yorktown(free trolley rides!) we also liked that the property had an indoor & outdoor pool. It’s a timeshare resort, FYI! The area also had a lot of nice restaurants. Especially in Merchants Square. Lots to do in this area in addition to the typical tourist visits.
The overall stay was decent. However, the interiors are a bit outdated and the walls are very thin. Very easy to hear your neighbors even just talking in the next room over. Bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was convenient. The pools and activity center can get very crowded during the busy summer season. But they do have a lot of game and activity options for kids. The location was close to several restaurants and activities. Only 15-20 min drive to Busch Gardens.
Exactly like the pictures and just what we needed to explore Williamsburg and convenient to everything. Cooked in the kitchen quite a bit and had everything we needed, and laundry worked great. My daughter loved amenities; especially the free game room. We also swam and played tennis. The check in process was cumbersome and slow. Long lines out the door with not enough staff to check people in, but lots of people available to give you the timeshare pitch which I didn't realize I'd have to politely tell them I wasn't interested several times and then politely had them speed through, which they did for me. In all, great trip and appreciated the accommodation.
Enjoyed my stay! Communication with Josh was fluid. I'm an alumna of W&M and had no idea this community sat beyond one of my favorite buffets. Beautifully manicured lawns and thoughtful placement of picnic benches, etc.
I was not aware there was no elevator (I may have overlooked this) but found the three flights easy to navigate with overpacking, as we were in the top unit. Never pack more than you can carry! The suite was clean and I love the added touches of popcorn and laundry detergent; my husband washed a few items before we departed. Ample closet space. Iron gets hot. Blow dryer and extra towels underneath cabinet. Comfortable furniture. Great options on TV. Noted what appeared to speakers with no input (maybe old alarm or PA system)?
Sound proofing could improve as I could hear someone coughing in what would have been in the adjoining room (door is en suite to bedroom). One morning it seemed as if kids were running overhead even though no units were above this one. Understandable as Williamsburg is a vacation spot/Mother's Day weekend/Events at the College.
Overall great location, aesthetic and value! I/We'll be back.
My kids really enjoyed the arcade and pool. The property is well kept and clean. The mattress on the king bed was super comfortable. Everything was very clean and pleasant. The only small problem is bath and sink did not drain well and it would pool up with water. Otherwise everything was great!
