I really enjoyed staying at this property - and will again in two weeks!. It is in a lively part of Turin - and one where there is easy access to the lovely riverside walk, the Egyptian museum, the Cinema museum, the railway station and many fine dining and casual places to eat. The property is set apart by the congeniality of the hosts and the wonderful light that enters the front windows from the Piazza. Would definitely book again.
Excellent accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts warmly welcomed us and gave us a lot of information which was useful. Excellent central location with very good restaurants and cafes minutes away,
We had a great trip and appreciated how close the apartment is to good restaurants and other must see sights. We would definitely stay again when in the region.
This flat exceeded my expectations in every way It was so nice to meet Elena who met us at the apartment upon our arrival. She showed us around and told us that she and her husband would be available if we had any problems or concerns. But we didn't have any issues. Everything was perfect!
Elena welcomed us warmly and oriented us to the amenities and facilities. The apartment was spotless and designed very well! We loved the location on the square. It was easy walking from there to many other spots or just enjoying our piazza. Two very modern bathrooms and two bedrooms were perfect. All the plumbing, hot water, washing machine , dishwasher, induction cooktop worked well with no glitches. We loved this place and Torino! Thank you Elena and Enrico!! Gina
We really enjoyed our stay in Turin. This apartment was perfectly located next to a large piazza with alot of restaurants. The apartment was clean and safe. Because of the activities on the piazza until late hours, the bedroom facing it was noisy making sleep an issue. Otherwise, our hosts were very responsive. A great place.
The apartment is beautiful. It has a few quirks based on the age of the building. The location is also great for touring the historic district. It is all walkable. Access was easy. The hosts were very communicative. It has a lift which is helpful. The only caveat is that the apartment is located above several restaurants and bars that stay open until 2- 3 am Friday and Saturday nights so it’s quite loud if you try to sleep before then. Otherwise, I would recommend it.
Absolutely fabulous stay! The apartment was superb and soon felt like home! Elena and Enrico were kind, informative, communicative and helpful hosts! The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It can get quite lively in the beautiful piazza below but the apartment blocks out most of the sound! Perfect location for walking to everything! We are looking forward to our next stay!
Four of us spent five days in Torino. The apartment was perfectly located, and very easy to use. It was a very classy place with great art and decoration. The rooms and bathrooms all worked out well for us after a day wondering the city.
We were two couples sharing the beautiful apartment. The 2 equal size bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to share. The apartment is so pretty and comfortable. The location was amazing, we could walk everywhere. Great coffee and gelato right downstairs. Elena, the owner was there at check in to show us around the place, which was great.
Great location. Rodrigo was very helpful with check in and recommendations for restaurants
Art collection is impressive Comfortable bedrooms and very spacious main room overlooking the piazza
I’m sorry we didn’t have more time in Turin as Casa Carlina was a stunning apartment in a great location. Esme, who checked us in, couldn’t have been nicer. Would definitely recommend the apartment!
The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous stay. The flat is gorgeous, warm, roomy and very clean. It sits above a wonderful coffee and pastry shop and we woke to amazing smells every morning. The location is perfect. We highly recommend this property.
We couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in Turin than these apartments. All the main attractions of the city are within a pleasant walking distance through the charming streets of this beautiful city. The apartment itself is a true gem — a model of artistic taste and architectural elegance. The wonderful oriental artefacts throughout create the feeling of being in a fine museum of Eastern cultures. Our hosts, Elena and Enrico, kindly allowed us to extend our stay by an extra unplanned day and even accommodated an early check-in.Thank you, Elena and Enrico! You made our stay in one of Europe’s most fascinating cities truly unforgettable. We’ll be happy to return at the first opportunity!
2nd stay, just as great as the 1st. Looking forward to the next.

We had a great stay in Turino in Enrico and Elena's apartment. The apartment is nice and it has air condition. The location is perfect, close to the very center of Turino and there are many good places to eat within a few minutes of walking.

About the host
Hosted by Enrico and Elena
We are Enrico and Elena, a couple in our sixties with two grown-up children, Marco and Claudia. We live in Turin, not far from the Carlina House. As Italians with a deep love for travel, art, and nature, we’ve shaped our lives around these passions. Enrico is an architect, and Elena is an antique dealer—together, we enjoy creating spaces and experiences that reflect beauty, authenticity, and a spirit of discovery.
Why they chose this property
You’re not just stepping into an apartment—you’re entering a small piece of Turin’s history. This is the city’s former Jewish Ghetto, established in 1679 by Maria Giovanna Battista of Nemours, regent of the Duchy of Savoy. It was the first ghetto built in Piedmont, and its character still lingers in the architecture and narrow streets.
The apartment’s coffered wooden ceilings, though slightly lower than modern ones, create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere—a sense of protection and warmth. Combined with tasteful furnishings and soundproof windows, it offers a serene space where work, rest, and leisure can coexist in perfect harmony.
What makes this property unique
Our property is not just a space; it’s a blend of history, comfort, and exceptional location.
1) Historical charm Nestled in the heart of Turin’s former Jewish Ghetto, the apartment brings the city’s history to life. The 17th-century architecture, enhanced by modern comforts, offers a unique experience that gracefully merges past and present.
2) Thoughtful design The interiors feature beautifully coffered ceilings and carefully selected furnishings, reflecting our personal backgrounds—Enrico as an architect and Elena as an antique dealer. Every detail balances aesthetics and practicality: energy-efficient appliances and soundproof windows ensure a serene and comfortable stay.
3) Location, Location, Location Set right in downtown Turin, overlooking Carlo Emanuele Square, the apartment provides immediate access to the city’s cultural, culinary, and social heartbeat. Museums, historic cafés, shops, and elegant squares are all just steps away.
4) Personal touch This is our family’s second home—designed with affection and care. It carries our warmth and style, and we’re happy to share it with guests who wish to create their own memories here.
5) In short A rare combination of historical allure, modern comfort, and unbeatable location—brought together with a personal touch that makes the property truly stand out.
