The unit was pretty nasty

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very dirty. There was rat / mice feces on countertops, hairs on the bedding, and the back patio furniture was pretty much unusable. The price displayed for the unit more than doubles when you book the room for all of the fees that are not shown up front. One of those fees was a cleaning fee, yet the unit did not appear to have been cleaned before I rented it. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Yes, John answered his phone the few times that I called which I really appreciated. It was a nice stay just too expensive.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, convenient, and great.

Our stay was great! The townhouse was really cozy, clean and felt super safe. It was right at the bottom of the mountain! Just a 30 second walk to the lift line! Thanks! :)

Great Value & Location

We found this within 2wks of our trip to Big Bear. We were planning to do Spartan Races at Snow Summit and this was really close. Worked out perfect, as we were able to walk out the front door of the unit and walk about .25mile to the venue. No need to deal with parking or anything and the unit came with (2) parking places. Not a high-end place, but worked for our needs and certainly was worth the money. Would definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location!!That says a lot... it was a quick walk to the lifts. That was the selling point for me. I think the unit I was in requires some TLC! The unit is outdated, and there were some minor repairs that need attention, such as, blinds, window coverings, door lock operation, etc. Other than that, I will rent again because of the location. Its a plus not having to drive to the ski area, look for parking, pay for parking, or wait for a shuttle to take you to and from your lodging.Give it a face lift and I'll give 5 stars!!Such as,

Location, Location, Location...5 Stars due to the excellent location. Walking distance to the ski lifts, and a short drive to everything else in town.
