Our stay was horrible.. the outside of the home was not appealing at all.. the grass wasnt cut, trash was still in trash bin, wasp nest everywhere, home was not up to par.. need painting, better mattresses, shower curtain had mold.. we wasn’t satisfied and the host would not accommodate me with pay..

House is very old and needs lots of improvements. Pots and pans need replaced, the house all over is not very disinfected, dirty carpet smell and just a heads up for whoever rented next they have noise sensor and some other kind of recording devices inside the house. If you have kids don’t rent this place, stairs to come in and out of the house. Overall, would not come back.

My family had a wonderful stay here. The house was spacious, relaxing, and offered plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. Each bedroom having its own TV was a huge plus! The kids loved having their own spot to unwind and watch their shows. The location was great as well, with quick access to plenty of places to shop and eat. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a smooth, enjoyable trip. We’d happily stay again!

Perfect in general and for a group!

This was a perfect house for our group of 7. Easy instructions to follow to access house, clean, beautiful, comfortable, a great place to rest while also a great place to hang out! TVs in every room, we loved the air hockey table. Areas to hang out together and separately. Did a short stay this time but would definitely stay longer as well now that we’ve been there.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this property and host earned this one.Before our stay, I respectfully asked if a few 70 year-old family members in town for a wedding could stop by for a couple of hours to catch up—no party, food, alcohol, or games. Instead of answering, the host immediately sent me a 160 invoice. When I asked for an itemized explanation, she refused and replied, "This is not the idle spot for catch-up chats." That set the tone. The listing advertises up to 10 guests but charges 20 per person after four.The host's communication was consistently rude and dismissive. The home wasn't much better. There were long hairs in the bathroom and tub (definitely not mine, I have locs), dirty bathroom corners, and a towel rack that fell off the wall. Instead of a welcome guide, the house was covered in tacky taped-up instruction notes. Like being scolded, not welcomed!The biggest issue was losing water early on day two. No showers, sinks, or toilets while we were getting ready for a wedding. I had to shower at my gym, while others relied on bottled water. The host offered another apartment 30 minutes away, which wasn't feasible, given the days events, then refused any refund and focused on how inconvenient the situation was for her.This stay perfectly represents why people are avoiding short-term rentals: poor communication, questionable cleanliness, maintenance issues, hidden fees, and zero customer service. I would absolutely not stay here again.

The city experienced an emergency water shut down and with no warning to anyone, some areas were affected. This was out of the host control, nevertheless we offered another location, free of charge for temporal bathroom needs as soon as the guest brought it up to our attention but the guest rejected thus she was comfortable enough in the location. Jessica also got a very early check in access free of charge prior to the water incident of the next day but I guess she doesn't deem that worth mentioning. As a guest, Jessica knew quite well she only booked and paid fees that covered for 4 people total at the property though she knew she was coming to town to socialize with lots of others. Trying to squeeze in others into the reserved home without appropriate registration, fees and services is going to lead to more usage of the home which will be more cleaning task for the cleaner more than cleaner bargained for, home has lots of stairs and Jessica seemed to not have ensured her travel, this is a risky move with home insurance company so unfortunately we were not going to put ourselves at such risk we'd rather pay the appropriate charges. This was a whole lot of deceitful way of doing business and letting others bare the cost of one's tricks, just to put food on their table is not kind. We look out for the cleaners and will like for them to experience our business with pleasure. Hopefully Jessica gets to do business the right way with her future travels. Since she was already vexed off for not getting her way, everything both listed on the app and even regular home mechanisms seem to then become a problem or an object of suspicion with added complaints we are now hearing for the first time. No amount of explanation from us could helped the way Jessica had chosen to feel and she turned around and quietly placed a charged back to her bank for her entire reservation so as to get a free stay. Not a sincere move. luckily we caught it on time. Hopefully she gets to feel better and utilize a home exactly for what she booked it for.

We had a wonderful weekend in Duluth and we were very happy to find a place to accommodate us. We enjoyed our stay at the house. Check in communication was inadequate. Our check-in date was March 27th, on March 26th I had to email the owner for access and wifi information. The owner told me "Will do on the day of your arrival on or before check in time." On March 27th, fifteen minutes before check-in time, I had to send the owner another email requesting this information. It was then sent to me right away. The kitchen ware leaves a lot to be desired. The teflon pans are peeling, there's no large skillet, the baking sheet is rusted, there were only 5 glasses (they didn't match) for 5 guests, there were no wine glasses, and the dishwasher did not clean the dishes.Overall, the house was pretty clean, but there are things that appeared to never be cleaned. For instance: baseboards, ceiling fans, and cabinet fronts.

We stayed two nights. The first thing we noticed when we entered the home was dingy and dirty walls and carpet. The kitchen was even worse. Sticky floors and dirt caked in corners. Also, no laundry detergent, so unable to do laundry. Dishwasher leaked all over floor and the wood base around the dishwasher was warped and appears to have been happening for some time. Outdoor patio was also dirty. Some hairs found in bathroom sinks. Overall, we were very displeased with the condition of this home.
