Graduation/Vacation

This property is great for families. It's a short walk to the boardwalk! The two bedroom apt was very comfortable and roomy and even though there was only one bathroom we made it work. (There were six of us- three adults three kids) We enjoy the pools and even had a cookout, since there are two grills and everything is supplied from the propane to the grilling utensils. We really had a nice time and will definitely rent here again.

This Guest is attempting to blame VRBO and the Host die a mistake he made in reserving nearly 8 months ago . He clearly a second floor , 2 BR Suite and signed a separate confirmation after booking from us confirming a second floor Suite rental which we do to insure accuracy . Upon Check in states he needed a first floor suite because of difficulty climbing steps which was unavailable . We provided options including an alternative location , first floor suite that was available the following day at our cost and expenses and signed a statement accepting same. In exchange . After his stay, he requested compensation from VRBO for the lost night . VRBO denied his request for additional compensation stating he did in deed rented a second floor suite and Host made a great effort to accommodate when the Host had no obligation . What we later learned is that he requested two more nights from us and would accept a second floor Suite which indicated he was being deceitful . This is a Guest that tried to deceive both us and VRBO . Due to his signed confirmation accepting the change , he had to be reported to legal counsel for further actions .

Rude Guests and Cleaning Staff

We were looking forward to this trip as it was my granddaughter’s first time at the beach. The condo was not cleaned when we arrived. We informed office staff who had cleaners there within several minutes. The cleaning staff were rude and snapped at my daughter in front of other guests and treating us like we were an inconvenience. There was visible dirt on the kitchen floor and carpets. They left us only one roll of toilet paper for our 4-day stay. When my daughter tried to put the sheets on the bed it was too small, clearly for a smaller size bed. As the office had already closed she had no sheets for her bed. Later in the evening, after 9:00 PM, there was screaming and loud laughing coming from the pool. This went on until around 11:00 PM. Upon observation, it appeared to be a large family (several generations) that had rented most, if not all, of the downstairs condos. They took all the tables in the courtyard and put them by the doors to their condos, where they kept their personal items, denying other guests access to their use. When we used the pool area on our last day we were able to find an empty beach chair, which I draped my towel and dress over. A member of there family came out and sat on our chair while we were swimming while all other chairs were occupied by their family members. Office staff were very nice and accommodating and gave us gift cards for my granddaughter for rides on the boardwalk. It appears we unfortunately had rude guests that tainted our stay

Lazy River is a Premier Host that averages over 4.8 stars over multiple reservations . You can see from the review that we attempted to satisfy the guests requests and immediately responded even through our inspections could not find any issues.

Place was very clean upon arrival. They can use mirrors in the bedrooms, only place was the bathroom Property was clean and the pools were nice. Staff was super friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed. Wonderful stay overall.

Great Value - Not Close to Mucb

The property is great and the room was exactly as expected. Lots of outdoor space, grills, tables, pool chairs. Its not close to much and there is a busy highway between the hotel and bay, so plan on driving, renting bikes or walking far to get around.

Home Away from Home!

Incredibly clean, modern very nice environment and atmosphere! Even the artwork on the wall is so pretty! You could not ask for a better place to stay for families! Very quiet and secure! Only four blocks away from the beach/boardwalk, so it's a quick walk, you don't even need to rely on your car to get you there! Two pools at the Lazy River by the Beach and a very welcoming courtyard with a tranquil fountain in the middle, surrounded by tables and gas grills. Without a moment's hesitation I would recommend this property to friends and relatives!

LazyRiver Rental Suites

This was our second year and we are already looking forward to our 3rd. The property is full of fun for kids and adults. Plus the clean rooms and kitchen make it our little home away from home. See you in 2014!

Great Family Rental!

This is a great place for families! There is a full kitchen to prepare meals, as well as pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. It is four blocks from the beach, and has two (small) pools, and they even provide gas grills for families to use. It was absolutely a great value for the money!
