About the host
Hosted by Neil David Steinpreis

I was born and raised in Sheboygan. I bought this house in 2004. I lived there until 2019 when I took a different job in Professional Racing. Since then I've lived in Dallas and Salt Lake City. I love my house and would never dream of getting rid of it. It has been rented for 3 straight years but I miss staying in it when I go back to visit or race at Road America. I've had a lot of great memories there including making it a furever home for my rescue dogs that I've saved over the years. They've always loved the large fenced in yard and watching the koi fish swim in the pond.
Why they chose this property
My home is in a great neighborhood. It's quiet, safe and very relaxing. It's very close to historic downtown Sheboygan Falls. (about 4 blocks or a 5 minute walk) To me downtown Falls has always reminded me of the town in Gremlins (minus the gremlins). With unique little shops, bars and restaurants. Firehouse pizza is always a great place to eat and in the summer you can walk through the park across the street and watch the falls. Certain week nights have bands playing there too. It is also in the center of Sheboygan Counties golf community. My favorite is Sunset Hills which is only 5 minutes away on Hwy 23. It's a great Par 3 course. More challenging? Try Town & Country, Black Wolf Run or Riverdale. Or you could go pro and try your luck at Whistling Straits. All of the courses are less than 20 minutes from the house. Road America is also less than 20 minutes from the driveway to the Main Gate. You can take the back roads to Sheboygan and drive through Kohler and see their beautiful stables and horses. It also has a bike bath. Sheboygan is less than 10 minutes away straight down Hwy 23. You make 2 turns and you can be on the shores of Lake Michigan. Walk out to the lighthouse or stroll down the river boardwalk. Plenty of different shops and restaurants along the way. (a great ice cream shop and mini golf course are right along the boardwalk)
What makes this property unique
I've always felt that my home is in such a great location for everything in Wisconsin. An hour to Lambeau Field or the Milwaukee airport. It's a great midtrip stop if you're traveling from Chicago to Northern Wisconsin. (2 1/2 hours to the loop from the house). If you like a small town feel and cool little shops you can stay right in Sheboygan Falls. But if you're looking for more to do it's located straight down the road from Hwy 23 which can take you right into the heart of Sheboygan. Go see my friends at 8th Street Ale Haus for great food and beer. Or head west through Plymouth and spend a weekend hiking in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. (My mom got us lost there for a few hours when I was a kid but they've made great improvements to trails) Hike up to Parnell Tower while there. You can always drive past the Kohler stables and take a tour of the Kohler design center, it makes for a great rainy day outing. The possibilities are endless.
