Good Location

Good Location. Beds were nice and comfy. Room was well equipped. Chairs provided for the beach were not beach chairs.

Great resort

The room was very comfy. We really enjoyed the pool and being so close to the village. Having the beach supplies were awesome too. The only downside was that the laundry was in the next complex (shared same garage) on the highest floor. Other than that, it was a great vacation spot. The food in the village was AMAZING!

We're with you on the food in the Village, Cooke! It is amazing! We love knowing you had plenty of space and enjoyed the community pool and the complimentary beach closet supplies! Convenience is key to a relaxing vacation, so that's what we want you to experience every time you stay with us. Until next time!

Enjoyed the property

Would’ve liked to have access to the porch like the neighbor next door. Great process checking in but room did have a weird pungent smell the entire stay. Did have a leak in the sink but got someone there within hours after reporting it.

Excellent

There was a bit of confusion on my behalf, so make sure when browsing that you look at the amenities and inclusions for each room, even if it is different room at same place. A lot of things are for homeowners only or those at actual Sandestin Resort not just premises. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we got all the kinks figured out! Definitely will recommend!

Joshua, we're so sorry for the confusion! Yes, we have the lockout units where one side is a studio and the other is more spacious. We list these as three separate places--one listing is for the studio. One listing is for the one or two bedrooms that is on the other side. One listing is for both units. We're always happy to answer questions or to work with you when you're booking, so you know exactly what you're getting and what the amenities and features are. We're glad you ended up having fun once the kinks were worked out and that you'd recommend this place. By all means, give us a shout the next time you're ready for another beautiful beach getaway!

A great spot!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a nice time staying at Market Street Inn 339 with My Vacation Haven! The room was so cute, and very conveniently located to the pool. The beds were so comfortable. The beach access and Baytowne Wharf area were great. We did have an incident where we lost power, but Danielle and Amy were so helpful and were able to resolve it extremely quickly. I really enjoyed staying here, and will definitely pick another My Vacation Haven spot next time I'm visiting the area!

False Advertising

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is listed as beachfront & it is not beachfront at all. It is not even near the beach. The room had an awful smell. The walls were very thin. You could hear everything the neighbors said & did & everything from the hallway. There was no sink to wash the dishes or a kitchenette. And the room was very small.
Response from VrboOwner on 24 Nov 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t as expected. The property you booked is a studio, which is designed to be a more compact space, and we understand that it may not have been the right fit for your needs. While the studio is not directly beachfront, it is located in a convenient area with beach access nearby, and we apologize if this wasn’t clear. We also regret to hear about the odor and noise concerns, and we’ll address those issues right away. The studio does not have a kitchenette or sink, but we strive to make this clear in the listing to avoid any confusion. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and will work on improving these aspects for future guests.

We stayed in room 337. It was perfect for two adults and a 12 year old. We had breakfast and lunch in the room or on our way to an activity. This helped cut down on food cost. We ate dinner out every night; didn’t need reservations, just walked into one of the many restaurants at Baytowne Wharf. There was entertainment every night ! We did the escape room and arcade (so fun) on the one afternoon that it rained. The tram was easy to take to the beach and there was a beachside pool for us to use as well. It was a great get away for all!

Not as advertised!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented a studio home, which I find out is just a hotel room. A very small hotel room! It took almost 3 hrs to get the door unlocked upon arrival because there is no 24/7 maintenance, like advertised. A locksmith was called. A coffee pot, toaster and microwave does not qualify for a kitchenette! No place do do dishes other than the bathroom! Gross!! We left a day early and spent the extra money to rent a room we wanted. I was also supposed to have a patio, which I did but the only way to access it was to walk down the hall, out of the hotel, down the walkway to our patio. Yet the room next to us had a sliding door that led to theirs. No one for information, or help of any kind. We will NEVER stay with New Haven or Market Street Inn ever again!
