Escape away from normal life to farm country where you have your own peaceful space on an active 40 acre farm of Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys! The farmhouse features 7 bedrooms with 4 king suites, 2 queens, 6 twin beds, and 1 crib. Large kitchen seats 19 that offers an 8 burner gas range, 5 burner electric range, 2 ovens. Staying here also gives you 40 acres to explore with hiking, picnics, and fishing in our two fully stocked ponds. Bring your fishing poles and enjoy nature, perfect for all

The farmhouse features 7 bedrooms with 4 king suites, 2 queens, 6 twin beds, and 1 crib. Large gourmet kitchen, seats 19 that offers an 8 burner gas range, 5 burner electric range, 2 ovens, under counter ice maker and beverage area.

We are proud to be a breeder of Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys touted as the `most lovable animals on the planet.` You can have as much or as little interaction with them as you desire. Feel free to hang out in barns and pastures with them and each day we close the gates and let a few free range on the farm. They`ll be glad to hang out with you, are very social and want lots of hugs and kisses. You`ll be able to say you `kissed ass at Donkeytown` when you leave. In addition, we have four free range goats, Willie, Waylon, Johnny, and June, plus two lambs, Pancho and Lefty, that will greet you daily!
Come welcome a stress-free farmcation where you`ll experience therapeutic donkeys and lots of love.

Staying at Donkeytown also gives you a beautiful 40 acres to explore with hiking, picnics, and fishing in our two fully stocked ponds. Bring your fishing poles or just enjoy sitting on the pier while drinking a cup of coffee or watching the sunset.
We can now accommodate conferences for up to 40 people with meeting space when you add the multigenerational barns, (see listing #2181263).

We absolutely loved this place! We do a large family vacation every year. This year we had 10 adults and 9 children ages 4-10. We usually like to go to different places every year for variety, but every child wans to go back to Donkeytown for our next trip. It was quite an experience to have friendly donkeys and goats hanging out your back door every day. Tonya was so laid back and friendly it made the experience that much better. I'm sure we'll be back at some point!

Darling Farmhouse/shabby chic with lots of room. Very clean. Plenty of pillows, towels, well stocked kitchen. Donkeys, sheep and goats were very friendly. My daughter loved gathering the fresh eggs every morning. The kayaks were fun as were the trails and finding geodes.

Our family of 13 enjoyed our time here so much that they have asked if we can make this an annual tradition. Tonya and her staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating! They’ve thought of everything when outfitting the house…spaces for adults and littles and all ages in between! When we were fishing Tonya brought us bait. Later that afternoon they brought nice, age appropriate bikes down for our kids to ride. We had family photos taken the night we arrived and they left the donkeys and goats out over an hour later than normal to accommodate us without us even knowing they were doing something extra. Honestly, we would rate this 100 stars on all categories if we could. In an age where true hospitality it hard to find, Tonya and her staff are overflowing with it. It’s simply perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a big family weekend and had the farmhouse and both barndeminums. It was the best time ever. Beautiful weather weekend and the Host Tonya was super responsive and really fun to be around. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Kelly was on it when sending texts in all the planning. Nothing bad to say at all and I would highly recommend for a relaxing family weekend. Full of fun with the animals and land. I will go again.

Tonya was wonderful host. This is a renovated FARM house, not a resort. Tonya has worked with all the animals to trust us and it works with extremely friendly donkeys, goats and chickens. First day, four 11 year olds were so reluctant to go outside with all these unfamiliar creatures around. Third day, they were retrieving eggs, interacting with the donkeys/goats like their best friends. So heart warming to see the kids walking around petting and interacting with these docile critters without any concern or fears. Beyond just a petting zoo. Kids saw a new born donkey (hours old). Fishing in ponds, trails and some adventures for the kids as well. Undeniable memories we will remember and the kids want to come back. City folks being able to experience a sliver of farm life with stories and laughs relating to thier favorite pet pals under the wonderful hosts welcoming personality. One notable memory, Two twin 2.5 year old girls playing outside with their toys while these huge (in comparison to them) donkeys sticking these noses in their business and the twins oblivious to these creatures was laughable.

Farmhouse was nice. Needs some handyman work here & there. For the price for 3 nights, 13 guests, a little steep. Outside around the farmhouse needs a little attention too.Host & farmhand were great.No laundry facilities. Wasn't a big deal.Kitchen set up was very nice. All the bedrooms & bathrooms were also very nice. Again, the handyman could use a To Do List.But, all in all, we all had a wonderful trip. Getting to know all the donkeys, goats, sheep & chickens was fantastic! The grown ups enjoyed as much as all the teens did. Between, June, Waylon & Willie, the most friendliest donkeys we ever met. Babies Ash & Liberty were adorable! They looked like cute little stuffed donkeys, they were so tiny. Fishing was catch & release. Nothing too big to even think about cooking. Only 1 good kayak & paddle to use. Didn't take out the row boat.The teens loved the doll cemetary & the geo field. Took home some beautiful rocks.I would recommend for a family with kids.

Great spot for friends retreat!

Owner was great and very easy to work with, and quick to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. Farmhouse was great, and had plenty of room and beds for our whole group for our weekend friends retreat. Definitely will be staying here again for our future retreats!

Reunion getaway

Booked this for thanksgiving get together and highly recommend if looking for countryside experience. Host Tonya was super helpful and even helped kids with feeding the animals. The house is well kept and perfect for families. Will be going back for sure

Family fall trip to Donkeytown

We loved staying at Donkeytown. We had the old farmhouse which was perfectly set closest to the ponds, donkeys and chickens. Tonya was such a joy and took the time with our family to ensure we had the best time. We will go again for sure.

If you're looking for somewhere to relax and find some peace, this is the place.

We came here to get away and do something as a family after going through a year of treatment with my son who has leukemia. We were looking for somewhere to gather our thoughts and just try to get back to normal and this was exactly what we needed!

This place is awesome ! Tons of fun things to do but at the same time a great place to relax. Even with all the animals around, they kept the farm really clean! I highly recommend this place for a big family get together!

Perfect Venue

Decided on this location since it was central to the majority of our wedding party. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the company of friends and family which was of most importance to us on this special day (weekend). Best vacation rental ever!

The fabulous kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. Amy and Tonya were very helpful, and the farm is amazing. We all had a blast interacting with the donkeys, goats, lambs, chickens (great eggs!), and dogs! The adults and teenagers all loved it!

Tonya was so friendly and engaging; she gave the kids a tour and the animals were great with the kids. The variety of things to do can’t be beat. The house is spacious with many options for sleeping. Great experience

The entire family enjoyed the stay. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great kitchen. Plenty of room and the animals were a blast. We enjoyed walking the property and felt safe. Excellent! Thank you for making memories we will never forget!
