About this property

The tranquility of rural France! A charming cottage attached to an old farmhouse.

Simple, but charming and traditional. Sleeps 4 people or a small family in 2 bedrooms; one double bed and two single beds. Backing onto the main house, this small gîte is a haven of peace, furnished with simplicity and comfort, in a charming style of yesteryear. A wood burner and central heating if you come in winter. It has an independent entrance and free access to the private garden.
No light polution at night; it's 'deep France'! But it's well accessible – A20 motorway, exits 56 or 57. Close to the main sights of Rocamadour, Saint-Cyr-la-Popie, Lascaux and along the Dordogne. Charming villages and wooded countryside to discover. A good local market in Catus (8km) and excellent markets in Cahors (23km). Swimming opportunities in the middle of nature nearby; supervised swimming at the Lac Vert, 10 km away.
