About this property
Domaine de Montécourt (1.5 hrs from Paris, 1 hr from Lille, 2 hrs from Brussels)
Welcome to the Domaine de Montécourt, an exceptional property built by the Bonduelle family.
An hour and a half from Paris and an hour from Lille, this fully restored house blends period charm with the most exacting contemporary standards.
Set at the heart of a private 10-hectare (25-acre) park reserved entirely for you — a driveway lined with century-old trees, a brick-and-stone façade, complete privacy — the house unfolds over more than 500 m² (5,400 sq ft) of light-filled space and welcomes up to 12 guests.
The space
The Domaine de Montécourt is far more than a holiday house: it's a place to celebrate, to spend a weekend with family, to bring friends together, or simply to enjoy an exceptional setting. Every space invites you to slow down, to entertain, and to make memories — where French heritage meets contemporary comfort.
You'll have a 500 m² private residence to yourselves, fully renovated, at the heart of 10 hectares of enclosed grounds.
The arrival sets the tone. A small road turns away from the fields, the gate opens onto a tree-lined drive, and the cobbled courtyard gradually comes into view. Once through the gate, the countryside disappears behind you.
The house once belonged to the Bonduelle family. Its renovation was carried out with particular attention to proportion, brick and light, adding the comfort one expects today from a house of this kind.
THE BEDROOMS
Six bedrooms, six bathrooms. Three suites have an en-suite bathroom; the other three bedrooms have their own bathroom just off the landing.
The beds: one 180 cm bed (super king), four 160 cm beds (king), and one bedroom with two single beds that we can push together into a 180 cm bed on request.
The house therefore sleeps twelve people in twelve real beds. No sofa beds, no fold-out extras.
A hairdryer is provided in each of the six bathrooms.
Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, just four steps from the grounds. If one of your guests finds stairs difficult, one of these rooms can be set aside for them.
THE RECEPTION ROOMS
The dining room has a 3 m × 1.20 m table seating fourteen. The large garden table seats the same number.
The sitting room offers eight seats on the sofas, plus four more in armchairs and side chairs. A working fireplace, with firewood provided, completes the space.
THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped for stays with family or friends:

Bed linen and towels are provided.
A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO WORK

Four desks are spread throughout the house, so several people can work at the same time without disturbing one another.
The large dining table can also be used as a meeting space.
THE GROUNDS
The estate covers 10 enclosed hectares, mainly lawns and wooded areas, with a small wood at the far end of the property. You can walk the whole way round.

Fishing is possible and the stock includes predatory species. A rowing boat is available; there is no jetty.
Swimming is possible, at guests' own risk. The ponds are not fenced and call for particular vigilance with young children.

The house has undergone extensive insulation work and is heated by heat pumps.
Every room is heated, so the estate can be enjoyed in any season, including the depths of winter.
