The Kitchen was clean, with modern appliances and well stocked. The House was very clean and comfortable.Mostly, the host was amazing. Super communicative, and made sure to plow the driveway as there was the snowfall the morning we arrived, as well as set up extra heaters. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is about 25 minutes from Belleayre if you go through Fleischmanns and 30-35 minutes if you stay on major roads.
Finding the house and checking in were easy. It was spacious, with lots of windows and no other people nearby. This is just what we were looking for. There were some condition issues we were surprised by - lots of dings in the walls, tears in the screens, and only one working lightbulb in the kitchen. Still, it was a good stay and we very much appreciate that it was dog friendly.

Thanks for your review, Emily. The light bulbs actually all work in the kitchen but guests complained it was too bright so I unscrewed a couple to make the light softer. I wish you had mentioned it and it could have been easily corrected. Also, we just had a brand new heater installed between guests so there is some patching to do in that spot just above the heater. Thanks of pointing that out.
Perfect!! Stayed here for long weekend in February 2026 and skied at Belleayre Mtn. House is in middle of no where…PERFECT! 15 mins from Mtn…PERFECT! It was cozy and spacious…PERFECT! It was actually a shame there was sooooo much snow…. Hard to fully appreciate the property. I would have liked some more seating in main living room (sitting room) which has a 3 person couch and 2 seats. There are 3 Bedrooms with a total of 4 beds big enough for 6 ppl plus extra sleeping if you use pull out couch. If you had that many ppl everyone couldn’t chill in seats in living room. But now that I look back it’s exactly what picture shows. We had 7 in our party and used an air mattress for extra sleeping. The is a couch for 3 ppl in basement where tv is located. I would definitely recommend this house and I will be back! A for how quickly owner responded to my questions!
This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view ! Working with Sarah was great. The instructions for check in were easy. The house from the kitchen to the bathrooms are well supplied. So many nice touches including scented hand wipes. I highly recommend this home ! I hope to stay again in the future.
This was without an iota of a doubt one of our best stays. The location was great, well furnished with all the necessary amenities. Amazing location. Great place to unwind from the city stress. We will return and definitely recommend.
The photos don’t even do justice to this beautiful home and location, I wish I could live here! The owner was so kind and accommodating and they had a lot of items we were free to use in case we forgot anything (some cooking items, games, etc)
Love love love and we hope to come again next October as a family vacation spot
This is the second time we stayed here . Perfect house for a ski weekend. Close to Belleayre.House has great views , nice property , clean cozy home and pet friendly which is a must for us ! Sarah is great as a host! Will be back for another weekend when we visit Belleayre again!
Beautiful spot in the Catskills - the photos don't really do the views justice. It's quite and secluded, with beautiful grounds to explore. The new and fancy washer and dryer is great for a longer stay like we had.
My friends and I were in town for a corporate ski getaway. This house is very clean, well stocked (pots, pans, board games, etc.) and close to town and the ski resorts (Belleayre and Plattekill). Sarah, the host, was always available to us for any questions. The restaurants in Roxbury were really incredible. We will be back to this house and town. We had an excellent time!
Gorgeous views from a beautiful house with everything you need!
We came up for our elopement and stargazing during the meteor shower, and couldn't have asked for a better spot!
Would absolutely come again :)
We had a great time - Sarah responded on a timely manner and made sure we got everything we needed. We came as two families with young kids, and the kids had a blast playing around the house. We should be planning to come back :)
Amazing location, view, tranquility, nature, deers, eagles I mean wildlife at your doorsteps. Simply beautiful. Great host, early check in. I can tell you enough how just wonderful the house is and location. Definitely will return.
It was hard to leave the Triolet chalet, the place has indeed a special energy. Everything is convenient simple and spotless, The view from the deck is majestic and if you are lucky and overnight have no clouds no moon the stargazing will make it unforgettable.
Thank you for making the experience available to others
We had a nice time. The house was clean. The only issues were that the house is heated by a large gas space heater. It works well and heated the house fine; it was just very loud. The rooms upstairs and down are heated by space heaters as well. Those are electric, however. Also, the steps to get to the main floor were covered in ice. It was a miracle no one slipped and hurt themselves while bringing in groceries.

Hi Mike -
I am so sorry you found the steps too icy. Between myself and our plow service we endeavor to sand and salt (pet friendly!) constantly to ensure the safety of our guests. And you saw we leave a big bag of salt and sand and shovels by the steps for you to use as you need.
We had a particularly brutal winter this year that was hard to manage at times. I vigilantly salted the steps and path up to the front door.
However, I will definitely take your feedback onboard and will double up on the salt and sand.
I also hope you saw my message the day you were due to arrive warning you of the frigid temps causing icy conditions. I had the driveway additionally sanded before your arrival.
Thanks for the kind message you left at the house saying you look forward to coming back next year!

The property is about 30 minutes away from a lot of things in the Catskills, making plenty of choices for what to visit during your stay. The property is very secluded, so you don't have to worry about poor neighbors, or anything of the sort. The house is very nice, just having some minor inconveniences than any real problems.
The house is great at holding heat. Makes sense, since the catskills are made for skiing, but visiting in the summer was tough. The heat wasn't unbearable, but we were blessed with fair 75-60 degree weather. It could be bad on a hotter trip. Having some box fans in the house, or other forms of air conditioning could help.
The house has a LOT of wasps nests in the roofs over the balconies. Most of them seem to be dead, but it would be much better to remove them, because there certainly were still some wasps around the house, making the balconies pretty unusable.
The lawn crew came during the trip, which is perfectly fine, but he didn't properly mulch the cut grass, instead leaving it in a large clipping pile in the middle of the property. This led to it covering our shoes as we used the fireplace in the yard, and dragging grass on to the house that had to be cleaned out.
