Enjoyed our quiet little getaway in the Northwoods. It was so nice to get back and vacation in the Rhinelander area. House, property and area were perfect!
It very quiet and love the fireplace, also loved the trail that was close to take our dog on walks . The kitchen was nice for
Cooking meal in. Would stay here again.
Had a great time at the property and the rhinelander area. House was clean and well put together. Would definitely like to come back in the summer and test out the water trampoline!
My family and I were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay that was accomodating of our pet. The home had plenty of room for all of us and was a great place to unwind after all our festivities. We wish we had more time to utilize all of the amenities that were offered. The whole family agrees that we would return for a future stay.
I grew up in Rhinelander, and never had been in this little nook. Nicely updated. Super comfy beds. Love all of the fun things that are strategically places to give you ideas. My daughter became a bird watcher this weekend!
Absolutely loved this property. Home has all the amenities a family would need to enjoy a get away. This is located in a fairly secluded area that is easy to get to. The small lake was absolutely clear in early September, and a touch cool as to be expected for a deep lake with lots of shade.
Definitely would love to come here when the leaves are changing, would be absolutely breathtaking.
Very cute but first impression of the living room furniture was in need of an upgrade. A recliner or 2 would be nice especially for the older adults to relax in after a long day on their feet.
My wife and I stayed for a week with long time friends during the summer. The location is quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake. There is a short walk to the dock with fishing and great spot for swimming. The Traeger smoker was a definite plus, we used it almost daily for steaks, pulled pork and bacon. We used the fire pit outside every night. The back of the house is completely secluded surrounded by woods and the lake. I would recommend this home and would stay here again. There is a room in the basement with bunk beds perfect for kids.
Great experience. Rented Zula's Retreat for a week over Memorial Day to enjoy a quiet week away just to rest and relax. The back deck, overlooking the lake, with its rocking patio chairs and table was perfect. We spent a lot of time out there, and I appreciated the handbuilt deck gate, which allowed our dog to easily join us. The house was well appointed and outfitted with everything you might need. We ate a number of meals at the house. Dish soap, bath soaps, shampoo, towels, sheets, etc. were all provided. We really appreciated the coffee grinder. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful, defined spaces in the home from a large kitchen/dining table to game/puzzle table to writing desk to basement with tv and kitchenette (great for the kids) separate from upstairs living room/fireplace (great for the adults). My brother and two niblings joined us for the first couple days of the trip and they enjoyed the lake and water toys immensely (despite the water being quite certainly too cold for anyone other than excited children). We saw other activity on the lake from the deck, a small fishing boat, a paddle boat, canoes/kayaks. Lake activity was limited (great for maintaining the peaceful vibes) but varied. Lake is a great size. Rhinelander location was good for us. We spent a day in Eagle River and a half day in Minnocqua. We ate at the White Stag (a family fave) and the Honey Bear. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would recommend and book again.
We had a great trip! It was our 9 week olds first road trip. The bedroom fit the pack and play with us. Property is clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The view in the AM for coffee on the back deck overlooking the lake is great! I don't think there is a gym anymore in the garage unless it was in a room we didn't explore in the back of the garage. Overall a wonderful spot. Would be great for kiddos too with the bunk beds in the basement. Really close to town but yet feels like your in the middle of the woods (that's Rhinelander really). Would stay again!
A lovely place in the Northwoods on a lake. What could be better? The property was very homey and clean. Everything we needed was there. The hosts were super responsive to our inquiries. The grandkids had a blast catching fish off the pier and swimming. Would definitely return.
Very nice house
We had a great time
Walk down to the lake a little challenging for granny and grandpa (me)
But the granddaughters enjoyed the lake and the paddle board
