Military family visit from east coast to Texas

Overall stay was great. Location close to all needs( shopping, groceries, and restaurants I will use fire maple again when returning to visit our family. Elizabeth’s great host

Very easy communication with the host.The house was just as it was pictured very beautiful and homey feeling.The back yard was nice for my 2 big dogs who have never had a yard to roam free in.The neighborhood was quite and nice very close to all your perspective shopping needs.we will be going back again and plan to stay in the same place.Thank you fire maple homes for our perfect trip.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was nice; however, we inspect mattresses of all homes we rent & these were very bad, the worse we’ve seen!! All were stained with what appeared to be blood and fecal matter, urine & bodily fluids. We sent photos to the owner, at no time did she offer to discount our stay & we still had five days remaining. Her response was “OMG, wow I guess it’s time to definitely swap those out.” Her further explanation, “the last time I was there, they didn’t look like that” was insulting & thoroughly unbelievable. How could anyone miss this? These stains are very old!! Every “bed” pillow had heavy perspiration stains; including those stored in bedroom closets. One bedroom window sill was FILTHY, while another bedroom was missing a t.v. remote. The owner offered to bring one to us; said she’d drop off on a Monday evening. She texted back & said Tuesday morning, but never showed up nor did she call to arrange another day & time. Master bed’s mattress was on two plywood boards inside a bed frame; very uncomfortable & creaked every time we moved. Underneath the bed, visibly sagging, boards were concave. The legs of bed are no longer straight, but bent. It’s only a matter of time before bed collapses & injuries take place. Master bath window is missing a screen; when opening for ventilation, a constant flow of gnats & mosquitoes found their way around the sinks. If you decide to stay here, ask if ALL mattresses have been replaced.

Need better lighting for backyard at night. Keuriq machine doesn’t work, thank God you have another coffee maker. Your back door knob won’t turn most of time..Need hooks behind bathroom doors. Master closet switch problems. Ice machine doesn’t work, please supply extra hand towels.. Thank you.
