We loved staying in this home. It’s a short drive to all the Chattanooga attractions, was clean, and has all the materials needed for traveling with a child which we greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend.
We were very happy with the property. Convenient to downtown. Great front porch to relax on at the end of the day. Felt comfortable the minute we walked in.
Emily,
The home is located in an urban and diverse neighborhood where pedestrians walk their dogs and walk the sidewalks. It’s also located on a corner which busier traffic during the day and lighter traffic at night however earplugs and sound machines are available for light sleepers. My goal is to always provide 5 STARS service for everything that I have control of or to make better.

Lesson learned
Pay attention to location and surroundings before booking. Did not feel safe staying after we arrived. We ended up in a hotel for our stay in Chattanooga.
Clean house and rooms. Comfortable accommodations. Very close to all the downtown activities we wanted to do. Read online the house was located close to a busy street, but decided to stay there anyway. Besides, the host can not control the traffic noise. Night lighting into the bedroom on the street side can be controlled with Black out curtains, which the host indicated she could add for future visitors. Another suggestion would be to add at least one firm chair with arm rest to the living area. We moved a chair from the dining area into the living area to help accommodate a person with walking and sitting difficulties. It worked out perfectly and was easy to return to original position afterwards.
Nice property for myself and 3 family members. Shower in master bath was a little small, but ok. Only cleanliness issue I saw was the fan in the master bath. Needs to be dusted. We did enjoy sitting on the front patio in the morning and evening.
Great location for a weekend getaway! The house was perfect for the 4 adults. We came to Chattanooga for a short trip to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were able to explore Chattanooga - the house was close to lots of things. Then we had a quiet evening at the house, relaxing and playing games. There was plenty of room and we were all comfortable.
The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. Anita was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
We had a great time at the De’Vine home. My best friend and I stayed with our three year-old grandchildren. There was plenty of room for them to run around. There was all kinds of toiletries and supplies available to us. The front porch is amazing. We spent so much time out there. And the added little touches, such as plenty of toilet paper, plenty of trashbags, hand soap, shampoos and conditioners. Even baby bath stuff, and the icing on the cake was the little snacks that were left for our toddlers to enjoy. I will definitely stay here again upon visiting Chattanooga.
The house is very updated with any appliance. You would want to use while on vacation. I highly recommend this property.
The home was centrally located for Chattanooga activities.
The rooms were as described and the bedrooms very comfortable. The only concern was the location near a busy street, but we were in and out so much during our time, that it did not impact our enjoyment of the property. We appreciated the up-to-date kitchen.
I and 2 adult family members stayed at the Vine property. It looked exactly like the images on VRBO. It is in the historic orchard knob neighborhood and very close to downtown. The house is completely updated in its looks and features. Technology throughout including Alexa and Google devices (you can easily turn them off if you are uncomfortable using them). An IRobot vacuum. You would have to download an app for the body scale located in the hall bathroom. Updated stainless steel appliances in the kitchen including washer and dryer.
The beds are very comfortable. If you have children, there is a highchair, portable bed, even a large basket of toys. I appreciated the disinfectant and hand sanitizer (even a brand for children) was supplied. Towels were plush and more than enough.
There are rules which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Even though we didn’t have an issue with them, its always helpful to know the expectations in advance: no shoes inside the house, no eating in the bedrooms, no additional visitors unless you get clearance first.
Kitchen has a combination pod/drip machine including variety of coffees, an air fryer and the usual pots/pans, dinnerware, glassware, and mugs. It was cold during our visit, so we didn’t use the backyard, but wood was provided for the outside fireplace. The owner has provided everything we could possibly require. For an older home, there were more than enough outlets which we appreciated. Anita was very communicative. I travel a lot for business and leisure and this property (in terms of amenities and host) was very welcoming.
We absolutely loved our stay! The decor is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and plenty of special touches to make us feel at home. There was lots of amenities for my toddler and baby. Toys, highchair, crib, bath holder, extra wipes, stroller.. it was really nice. The aquarium and most things downtown are about 8 minutes away. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay.
