Kona Magic Sands#309 is a DIRECT oceanfront, Top floor condo that is meticulously maintained, beautifully furnished, and has absolutely anything any guest could dream of.
Air Conditioning, Wifi, beach gear, linens, dishes, cookware, fully equipped!

This 3rd floor/Top Floor condo has such a beautiful view! Wake up to the ocean, hear the waves. Great whale watching during the winter months! Immediately upon walking in, you'll notice a well appointed mini kitchen that has a stove, sink, fridge and fully stocked with dishes. The bathroom has a walk in shower for you!

In the living area, there's a sitting area if you want to get some R&R watching TV. There's a small dining area as well by the Queen Sized Bed. This is an incredible option for 1 or 2 people looking to be direct beach front.

Kona Magic Sands is the only beachfront condominium complex in Kona. Enjoy an oceanfront pool there as well! There's a restaurant on site called Magics Grill as well!
Laundry use is available in the complex, which is a shared common area.

Another week in paradise

We love it here. We have stayed here before and will stay again. We love the location. You can’t get closer to the water. The unit is well maintained and clean. It has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The management team is fast and responsive. We had an AC unit problem and they had someone out as quickly as possible.

Absolutely worth it, the view was breathtaking. The room was perfect for the two of us. .

Had the most wonderful, amazing time. The property was close enough to the shops, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle will definitely stay there again. Truly enjoyed our honeymoon. Will be back next year for sure.

The kitchenette gave us the opportunity to make our own breakfast every day and sit with the patio doors opens while eating. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep. The condo was tidy and provided us with all the necessities. The building is an older style but that didn't phase us. There were simple extras like chairs, umbrella, and body boards to use at the beach. Also the restaurant on site was great when we didn't want to go far. We would come back here easily.

There's also a great beach shack and grill for breakfast/coffee/cocktails connected. They check in on you to see how everything is and give you anything you could possibly need in book with thorough descriptions (I didn't need anything, but if you do, the numbers/directions are there). If you're lucky enough to get a spot here, take it!!

We saw dolphins, schools of fish, tide pools, sunsets, the moon and stars from the comfy furniture and bed! We left our huge sliding glass doors open to hear the waves crash against the lava rock.. we slept like babies! We didn’t need the air conditioning, as the cross breeze thru the condo was amazing! The condo was well appointed with; boogie boards, beach chairs, pool noodles, coolers, and all the kitchen supplies you need to cook if you choose. The restaurant and beach onsite are the best! Friendly and accommodating, along with the best food and drinks! We walked and biked All’i drive to all the get groceries, restaurants, and all the public access beaches. We also took the free open air trolley that makes a loop to all the above! It picks you up, and drops you off right at magic sands beach. The management company was available by phone or text if we needed to ask questions and were more than accommodating. We will be back!

You get what you pay for

Granted, we chose this place based on the value. It was one of the cheaper oceanfront units for rent. That said this would be a 1 maybe 2 star hotel anywhere. Kudos to the photographer that made this unit look this nice in the pictures. It’s a cinder block construction room that is the size of a suite hotel room. The entry to the bathroom is incredibly tight, anyone bigger than 200 pounds is going to need to grease up to get in. The kitchen is very outdated and needs a face lift. The mattress didn’t have a protector on it which, why? If you have dozens of guests sleeping on something why wouldn’t you invest in a cheap way to keep the mattress somewhat clean? The one closet in the place was packed to the gills with stuff. There’s no space to even hang clothes. There is no deck or patio, you can open the sliders and your living room is now open air. The mini split air conditioner was nice too cool things off, but it drains into the shower behind it so you get to listen to the dripping all night if you want it cool. Overall, it suited our needs. I wouldn’t stay here again though.

In addition to the ocean view and sounds right out the window, there is a small and very popular white sand beach adjacent to the property, and there is a restaurant in the complex with oceanfront seating, plus a take-out cafe with breakfast and lunch and tables along the beach. Quite the package!The room was clean and lovely and we spent much time sitting by the big sliding doors right over the ocean. There is beach gear in the closet, very convenient. We will be back for sure!
