Welcome to Trails Head Cabin! Located on a quiet dead end road, this cabin sits at the head of the Neversink River Unique Area and offers activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting. My wife and I have fully renovated the inside of the cabin, and have begun to update the exterior. A five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). See you soon!
Other things to note: Please respect our non-smoking policy. Absolutely NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles.
We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests.
The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you should have capability to call and text.
Please note this is a very old cabin, and while there is an efficent mini split unit to heat the space during the winter months, it does not heat like that of an apartment or new construction home (expect a comfortable 70 degrees).
NOTE: Any early check-in or late check-out requests are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please be advised these requests, if available, require an extra fee of $20 per hour.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

.The place is beautiful, well maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The cabin was spotless, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The hosts was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely come back and recommend
The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was nice. I loved what was provided in the kitchen and really appreciated the dog treats!
A very warm and inviting home for a getaway close by to NYC. The space accommodates up to 4 comfortably with a furry companion. It’s very clean, stocked with any cook and diningware you need as long as you buy enough food, and has fantastic amenities. We used the fire pit out back, which was a great time to just sit, get warm, and talk all night. The porch has plenty of seating to enjoy some fresh air on a rainy day. Most importantly for us, we were able to walk right up to the start of the trail, the Neversink River Unique Area. Not the easiest trail to complete but well worth the effort to see as much as you can on it.Thank you for sharing your home with us, exactly what we were looking for.
Lovely quiet spot at dead end road. Good for hiking or fishing, would like to return for longer stay to explore more in the area. Worked great as stay over spot en route to NYC from upstate.

Excellent place. Clean, comfortable, warm. A lot of blankets and pillows :).
Sky at night was full of stars you can't see in the city.
I really enjoy it and I believe I'll be back
Great location that's super close to the trailhead, very convenient for those that want to hike in the area! Very easy check-in and reasonably priced. My partner and I had a wonderful time staying here.
The Trails Head Cabin was a wonderful getaway for the weekend! It was very clean and nestled in a great area. We enjoyed exploring the trails right next door as well as going up the road for dinner and drinks at Brew.
We appreciated the owners quick response to a problem, and also no air fresheners in the house, as it causes allergies.Right next to great hiking trails and lots of wildlife.
This property was just what we needed for our trip. It was secluded and so quiet. Our family enjoyed the decor and cozy feel! It was close to bethel wood where we attended a concert. Our puppy enjoyed her stay as well. She felt right at home! Host was easy to contact and down to earth. Will definitely stay here in the future! Thanks for the beautiful stay for our final summer family get away.
We arrived and the check-in process was a simple as it gets. Step inside and it's a cute little cabin that was roomy and clean! The property has an outdoor space and was sooooooo quiet which was exactly what we were looking for.

My name is Brittani and my husband's name is Rich, and we are slowly improving this property we were so blessed to have purchased in late 2020. My husband grew up on this property and spent countless years making irreplaceable memories. We live locally and look forward to sharing our lovely little cabin with others!
Why they chose this property
This property has been in my husband's family for generations, and we are very thankful to have been able to purchase this property in 2020. While we are slowly working to improve the property, it is very special to us, as my husband grew up here with memories that can never be replaced. We are eager to share this beautiful piece of land with people who truly appreciate and enjoy being in nature and creating memories with family and friends. We look forward to hosting our future guests and hope you enjoy our lovely little cabin as much as we do!
