Quaint pond feature. This private, lower-level suite in Fife Lake features a separate entrance, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, small toaster-oven, mini fridge w/freezer, and coffee pot. Located 30 minutes from the famous Traverse City, the space includes a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, WiFi with streaming services, and seasonal access to two kayaks and a paddle boat. Guests can enjoy onsite trailer parking for a boat or snowmobiles, a backyard firepit, and close proximity to the very popular North Country Trail.

***Please note: We live upstairs, but your area is separate.*** This space is perfect for 2 guests. Across from all-sport Fife Lake and only 45 minutes from the most popular tourist attractions.

Dine at one of our four locations in the vvillage for your convenience and enjoyment. (See guidebook).

Your space downstairs is a large bedroom with a small living area and sofa, full bathroom with tub/shower combination, and a small kitchenette/laundry area (no sink in the kitchenette). Plenty of closet space.

People enjoy gathering at our sandbar between the two islands or seeing the Bald Eagles and their nest on one of our islands.

***Guests must transport the kayaks and/or paddle boat themselves and have lifejackets on the crafts. We provide two lifejackets, and waivers signed for use.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Quaint place to visit

We came up north for a long weekend and found this location to be relaxing and so much fun. We were able to launch kayaks right down the street end enjoy Fife Lake. We were also able to visit with friends in Traverse City as it's just about a 1/2 hour ride. I would definitely recommend this place for your next stay!

I love hosting and meeting people! I have been hosting over a year now. This is a picture of me on my kayak on Fife Lake. : ) You can have use of the kayaks, (with a signed waiver), and must be able to transport the kayaks either in the back of the trunk of your car or truck bed. My place is my idea of "heaven on earth". I hope you enjoy your stay and can get away from it all.

Why they chose this property

We are very close to many popular attractions! But for a getaway, this is the place! In the summer, there are many activities and the bustle of Traverse City! Here you can relax in the backyard by the pond and take a walk in the woods. There is free parking for snowmobiles, 4 x4, a trailer for pulling your 4 x 4 and/or boat is available! So much to do in the summer with all the wineries, sightseeing and shopping in Traverse City! The beautiful and popular North Country Trail is only a mile away from the house. In the winter, you can park your snowmobile at the Upper Bar, and relax inside by their fireplace with a drink and/or warm meal or go for a snowy hike in the woods!
