This was a beautiful home in a clean, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by a national forest. Perfect for hiking, watching the stars at night, and breathing fresh air. Our dogs enjoyed their roomy backyard. Our hosts were very responsive and kind. I highly recommend this and will love to return.
Great little house for our family and dog for spring break. Easy drives in to Flagstaff and Sedona. Host let us know everything we needed to know before we had to ask.
Very nice and comfortable. Doggie door and fenced yard were great for our pup. Gas fireplace a plus. Nice upstairs loft area with bedroom and bathroom and great master bedroom. Very clean and well decorated. Everything was excellent from the host and the property and location.
Great Christmas in Flagstaff. House was perfect for stay, and short drive into town to visit with family!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at this beautiful property. The house was very nice with all of the amenities. The surrounding area is so nice and great for walking in nature. The owners were super attentive and responsive. Very enjoyable stay.
We had such a nice time staying here for a family trip! Beds were so comfy, the loft area was great for my teenage daughter and everything we needed was there. I loved the extra blankets! We didn’t get a chance to experience the outside areas due to the chilly weather but would definitely stay again!
We were there for our daughters wedding, the house was perfect. Had everything we needed and was so close to the venue. Great yard for our dogs and just to sit and relax. Would definetly stay there again.
Very clean and cozy home! This house had everything we needed and more. The host was easy to reach and responded very quickly. Would definitely love to stay here again!
We had a wonderful early weekend at this “close to Flagstaff” property. An unexpected storm rolled through, complete with thunder, lightning, graupel and snow! We lost power for a few hours and Snowbowl canceled our gondola ride but we enjoyed a nice quiet day in this cozy rental. Can’t wait to come back!
My family of lots of young kids and 2 doggies escaped the Scottsdale heat and couldn't have had a more enjoyable time here. Kids loved that it saved us a few minutes on the drive (rather than driving all the way into downtown) and it was clean, comfortable and perfect for the dogs and kids in the backyard. The hike we took from the neighborhood was great and clearly marked, easy to get into downtown for food/candy shop and the bbq and Cornhole was perfect for enjoying the whistling trees. We would gladly stay here again.

Thanks for the great review!! Happy to hear you and your family enjoyed the house so much.
We are re-locating from California to Tennessee. We needed a pet friendly place with an enclosed back yard for our 3 dogs. This location could not have been more perfect! Everything went so well from check-in to check-out! Glad we picked this location for our quick stay!
Our stay was short and sweet! No issues, but wish we would’ve known there was no AC in the house. We aren’t used to the AZ heat and sure could’ve used some air conditioning! Other than that it was great, our dogs loved the yard. Would stay again, not in summer :)

Thanks for the 5 star review, Stacy! We’re sorry you weren’t as comfortable as you’d hoped. We don’t advertise AC on our listing, and most homes in Flagstaff don’t have AC units as temperatures are typically mild most of the year. Opening windows at night and keeping doors and windows closed during the day is typically enough to keep the home at a comfortable temperature. Thanks again for staying with us.
We have a 2 year old English Cream Golden Retriever and a 10 year old terrier that have never seen the snow. They LOVED IT!!!! The place was amazing. We only could stay 1 of the 2 nights as a snow storm was coming in and we could not take a chance on being snowed in as we had to get back to work. We will always remember how much fun our dogs had, would have loved to stay for a week. Host was the best also.
This was such an adorable and cozy home. Exactly as advertised and more. It had a very endearing cabin in the woods feeling with the fireplace in the living room and many trees surrounding the property. Everything was clean. The rooms were were cutely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. We felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. The National Forest was just a couple blocks down the street with an abundance of walking trails. We had such a fun time exploring. The hosts were both very accommodating and went above and beyond! We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Weekend getaway (Saturday-Tuesday)
At our 4pm check in, we parked on the street for a few minutes until the cleaning person left.
My observations: homes are really close to one another, porch furniture is dirty with an abundance of spider webs. Inside there was a large mass of hair in the corner next to the couch, the paper towel in the kitchen was left at a 1/4 roll without a replacement, containers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash left 1/2 empty, toiletry containers in bathrooms were 99% empty (unlike the pictures), and the backyard patio was a mess; the screen door was broken and wouldn’t close/open properly, spider webs galore and bird droppings on the table/chairs. The dogs next door are very large (150lbs +) and very loud. Had we messaged the owner as instructed, I would’ve been on my phone every 5 minutes. They growled as soon as we stepped out and barked at us the entire time we were outside unless the homeowner was yelling at them to stop. So we stayed inside most of our stay. No a/c but we knew that from reviews.
The living room furniture isn’t comfy. The couch is literally a one person lounger without any cushioning and one of the two arm chairs was sittable, not a word but accurate.
While we were halfway through grilling our dinner the next day, we found out the propane hadn’t been filled.
Plusses: Master bedroom bed is comfy and the water was cold from the tap and drinkable.
Am I picky, possibly, but paying just shy of $1200, I think it’s justified.

Debra,
I’m terribly sorry your stay wasn’t what you’d hoped. We always strive to provide an exceptional experience, but we fell short this time. You were one of our first guests after changing cleaners, and there were some growing pains in the transition. As for the dogs - they are outside of our control, but our neighbors are very responsive to our messages if we inform them that they’re bothering guests. I wish you would’ve reached out and let us try to help. You are one of the first guests to bring up the furniture, but I hear your input and we will add that to our upgrade plans for this fall. I don’t think you're being picky, and I’d like to offer you a discount for a future stay to try and make it right. Thank you, and take care.

My wife and I had such an enjoyable time on our weekend getaway in Flagstaff. This cute cabin had everything we needed for the weekend. We had great communication with the property owners and they were very friendly and helpful. The house has a great location close to everything we were looking for. A beautiful quiet, peaceful time and would recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you again for a great weekend.

I am an Arizona native and the southwest is my favorite place to be! I discovered my love for travel during a college graduation trip abroad and I have since enjoyed immersing myself in other cities and cultures. When home, I enjoy life's simple pleasures like the perfect cup of coffee in the morning with my dogs curled up at my feet, seeing the flowers in my garden blossom and hearing the local birds sing their songs. Being an interior designer, my surroundings are important to me and I enjoy finding a home away from home when on the road. I hope that is what you feel when staying in our mountain home!
