Cozy and relaxing. Hosts exceeded all expectations with everything we could possibly need provided. We were lucky to catch perfect Fall colors and the river views were spectacular. Thank you and we look forward to our next visit!
Very pretty. Owner was very nice and helped when we needed it. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to just get away or even for family time outside
We needed a quiet weekend away. This location looked like it would be perfect. It was beautiful and rural. However, the owners house is close and Friday evening they went downtown. Their dogs barked at every noise. Not peaceful. Saturday evening the owners had guests over to watch a game on an outdoor tv. Not peaceful. If those things were different my review would be different.
My husband and I rented this tiny house for our anniversary weekend get away. It was absolutely perfect. The bed is very comfy, plenty of hot water, and super close to town to find food and anything else you need. The view is beautiful, we were able to fish right on the river in the back yard. There’s even a friendly cat who followed us around when we fished and enjoyed the patio with us. I named him Leaf because he ate about 5 of them over the weekend. The host is very nice and made sure our stay was perfect. There’s an area with swings, twinkle lights, and the wind chimes played what I can only describe as the type of zen music they play in a spa. Very relaxing and enjoyable. I will note that the ladder to get up inside the little loft bed is difficult for short people or children. There should be at least one more handle to make it to the top. If you’re short, you may fight the shower a bit but it’s doable. Over all, perfect place for a relaxing or romantic weekend away. We will probably make this our yearly spot.
Loved staying there from the time we stepped onto the property to when we left. Everything you need and did not know you needed is there. You can spend the whole weekend out in the yard. There is horse shoes, corn hole, benches by the river, swing chairs and hammock chairs around the fire. Movies for the dvd, pop corn, I can go on and on. The beds were very comfortable, nice kitchenette, roomy bathroom with shower. The peace and quiet is just what you need. We brought everything and after being there and saw what was there half of it ended back in the van before we got settled. We are thinking about coming back and even having a Mother, Daughter get away. We rented out the rv in two weeks we just can't wait!
Our family purchased this property three years ago to find a little heaven on earth. Our family is involved in education, trying to improve our world one student at a time. We are a proud Army veteran family, so we love to fly the red, white, and blue!
