There’s a furnace, space heaters and an assortment of board and card games available for the occasional chilly or rainy summer day.
🐾Dog Friendly🐾
We welcome up to two dogs of any size with no additional charge. We kindly request that dogs be licensed in your home county and utd on all vaccines. Coyote sightings are not an every day occurrence but nor are they uncommon, so for the safety of your pets and courtesy to the neighbors, dogs must be on a leash or tie out at all times while outside, and not left unattended.
🐾We kindly request that dogs be crated if left alone in the cottage. Dog waste should be picked up promptly and disposed of either in bags in the outside trash receptacle or emptied into the compost bin.
🐾We have lots of extra ‘dog towels’ for drying them off after a romp in the lake, but if they sleep in bed with you or like to nap on the couch, please bring an appropriate sheet or blanket to protect the bedding and upholstery.
**There are two outdoor Security cameras to monitor shed and road access.
Long Lake is a 357 acre all sports lake.
There’s a large, easily accessible boat launch on the south side of the lake next to Long Lake Party Store.
The cottage and it’s lakefront are close to ‘the cove’ a no wake area of the lake protected from the wind and usual ebb & flow from motor craft and is abundant with wildlife. Excellent for fishing.
The area:
Greenville is a 15-20 minute drive and Belding, home to Gus Macker, is about a 10 minute drive. Both towns have grocery stores, antique and resale shops, restaurants, bars, breweries and coffee shops.
