A perfect place for a comfortable stay! The owner was pleasant and flexible and she even upgraded our room since they were not busy! Breakfast was amazing with farm to table ingredients. We will be back!
I lived in Aiken for several decades and didn't even know this was here. I'm back visiting friends and glad I found it.For about the cost of a chain hotel you get personalized service, a quiet, comfortable room, and an actual breakfast
My wife and I enjoyed the Mockingbird Suite (rather than one of the smaller rooms) as it was our first anniversary weekend. We could not have been more blessed, by the graciousness and hospitality of our hostess Melinda! She is extremely talented; cooking breakfast, making her own fresh jams, designing the interior of her personalized B&B, and beautifying the garden and grounds with her green thumb. This is a perfect Hideaway, tucked into the woods of south Aiken, secluded from prying eyes and the frantic pace of the city. The King suite we stayed in, was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed we slept soundly in, thanks to the calm and quiet surroundings. Oh, did I mention the pool and beautiful pool house? Even those professionals who only work in Aiken during the week, should check out this retreat, to wind down and relax in, over the weekend. You may never want to go home…
