The home was beautiful, quiet and very comfortable. We cooked breakfast in every morning and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back in Estes.
This renovated over 100 year old cabin was a delight to stay in for nearly 3 weeks. It was tastefully decorated with lots of artwork and craftsman style furniture. The location was close to town yet very secluded with wildlife around to watch nearly every day.
The property has a very nice location. Close to most things you need or want to do in the area. The house itself is in very good condition for a house of this age. It was remodeled nicely. The lot the house is on is very large and private with a couple nice outside seating areas. The natural rock outcroppings make the property very interesting. We saw several elk and turkey and had several cross of the property, including a very large bull elk. We had a couple of minor questions and the host was very responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay.
This was our fourth stay at Rockhedge and definitely not our last. We love everything about it: the historic character, the furnishings, the location, the culinary stock and the level of hospitality provided by Durango and Mark. Thank you!
The house shows a very sympathetic renovation and updating of a lovely bungalow. Fine fireplace, lots of dark woodwork and casement windows. The hosts have provided many of the housekeeping basics and some thoughtful extras. They were very responsive when we needed some assistance. The neighborhood is quiet but only a few minutes from town. Excellent location.
The cabin was very presentable, clean & comfy! The only problem we had was with the patio areas which needed to be cleaned off from debris and dirt. I requested a blower to help me with this two hour broom project, but I was told none was available so I cleaned these patios with the broom not fun while on holiday. I would definitely return to this cabin if in the area but would request the patios be cleaned off. Loved our stay!

Good Day Larry,
We are happy that you chose our Rockhedge for your stay in the Rocky Mountains! We are sorry that you had to clean the patios for your special luncheon.
I wish you would have communicated with us on the Text Chain with this request, so we could have had the opportunity to address your concern.
We are thrilled that you loved your stay and welcome your return to Rockhedge.

What a delightful cabin! Plenty of space to spread out. Close to downtown. Even more beautiful than the photos show. Everything a family needs to enjoy a vacation. Used the kitchen a lot. Wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of wildlife outside our windows too - especially deer, chipmunks, and elk. Great place close to the Rocky Mountains.
We enjoyed staying at this property, the hosts were very polite and helpful. The property was beautiful and centrally located to shopping and everything else that we needed for our daily hikes. 20-30 minute drive to the trails. The only recommendation would make it to upgrade the bedroom pillows as they were a bit flat, deflated and uncomfortable. Other than that we loved the outdoor area, grill and amazing kitchen for cooking some delicious meals.
This homey house is our favorite Estes Park getaway by far. I think this was our 4th stay here and we are completely spoiled by this perfect place and ideal location. We will keep coming here as long as it is available!
We have been to Estes at least once a year for the last 15 years. This was one of the best places we have stayed. Beautiful cabin with wonderful views, close to downtown and Safeway. Direct route to RMNP. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Beautiful home in an ideal location to downtown and the park. The house was spotless and incredibly charming. The hosts were very attentive and available to promptly answer questions.
