Easy access getting into house. Great location close to TXST. House was more or less as described. It should be made more clear in the listing that the host or someone is actively living in the house so there are personal items all throughout the house. Not a big deal but a little weird if you are not expecting it.

This is as if your friend with an eye for design and a green thumb said you could use their place. It is someone’s actual house so you’re either comfortable with that or not but the experience is that everything you need is there, it’s spotlessly clean and comfortably well appointed. Art, plants, vibes- this place has it all. Ideally located and a welcome respite from the chaos of move-in weekend.

This was my birthday retreat and a retreat it was/ Is!!!First and foremost the plants are so beautiful and well maintained. We loved the wrap around porch with multiple seating areas. We were able to enjoy the nature in a city setting which says a lot. I loved our host she was so accommodating and responsive even when I locked us out. The inside is decorated so beautifully as well. Very clean!!Please don’t hesitate to book this GEM!!

When we arrived at the house, first thing I noticed was the strong smell of dog….although the house itself was tidy for the most part. When I went to a closet to hang my clothes, they were all full of personal clothes, shoes, junk, etc. The kitchen frig was full of personal food and the pantry and drawers were full of personal belongings, medicine, you name it. It appeared as if this was someone personal home and they just vacated for a night for our stay. It was very uncomfortable and we left at midnight after the wedding we attended. I feel this information should have been divulged in the house description and it was not. I have booked with VRBO for years and this is a first. 300 down the drain. Very, very disappointing.

Spring break 2025

We stayed for one day so my son could enjoy the river for his spring break. This place was perfect for that and everything is very close by if you decide to Uber or walk. This place was very quite and relaxing.

Beautiful home! Everything was just as advertised. Its a lovely spacious home, all appliances/etc worked great, comfy bed, etc. Really liked the location being a little tucked away, but still having very easy and walkable access to most everything in San Marcos. Hope to be back!
