The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Bring all garbage to the wooden bin at the end of the street. Waste in CLEAR bags and recycle in BLUE bags.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely no smoking (cannabis, vapour etc.) in our home. If you smoke in the home, you will be automatically changed your full deposit.
Place waste bags in the wooden bin by the mailbox. If you have excessive waste, you are responsible for removing it from the property
Dogs are required to be on a leash or tether leash and on our property at all times. Our neighbour has dogs that are territorial to their property.

Quiet peaceful lake with a great host!

Perfect family getaway at Palette Lake Lodge. It's tucked away on a quiet and small lake with no loud motorboats. The host was very responsive, friendly and great to deal with!

Family wedding in the area

We're from the GTA and there was a family wedding in Huntsville. Instead of a boring, expensive hotel, we chose this beautiful cottage. From start to finish everything was great.

Great Cottage!

Really cute and clean cottage. Great natural beautiful lake. My boys caught 32 fish which was so much fun. Close to downtown Huntsville which is nice and convenient. Would book another stay for sure! Thanks for having us Ryan and Jasmine!

Great getaway

Cottage was exceptionally clean with comfortable beds. Beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed paddling and swimming and the boys enjoyed the plentiful fish for fishing! Dock was rather shaded with limited sun. Short drive to arrowhead for hiking as well as oxtongue lake for a short canoe trip with our boys to Ragged falls.

Lovely and Private

Private area, clean, great high speed WIFI and Roku entertainment system, was able to work briefly while the family played, Nice to kayak and paddle boat around the lake. Fish jumping although just little guys, Woke to deer at the fire pit,

Cozy cottage for a nice getaway

We had a really nice week at this cottage. The cottage is spacious and comfy, the location is beautiful and quiet, and the hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. We worked remotely during our stay and found that the internet was good enough for light work. Their are plenty of nice areas nearby for relaxing walks, as well as Arrowhead Park a 10 minute drive away. Definitely recommend!

We are passionate about the outdoors and enjoy everything about the cottage life. As parents of two young children, we wanted to chose a location that was close enough to Toronto that we could make lasting memories. We enjoy hosting others to also make memories of their own.

Why they chose this property

We love the secluded cottage life with bonfires and the lake toys to enjoy time outside. While being surrounded by trees, it is only 5 minutes from Highway 11 and 15 minutes from downtown Huntsville.

What makes this property unique

Surrounded by woods and lakefront property is a beautiful exterior with an upgraded interior with all necessary amenities.
