Beautiful place

Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. The whole set up was perfect inside and out. I’d recommend the home to couples and older children it’s definitely a very nice home and I chased my toddler around all day to make sure she didn’t tear things up . But we loved our stay

Wonderful stay!

I stayed here with my family for a wedding weekend and had a wonderful time! The front porch and enclosed back porch were great for just relaxing, having a cup of coffee, and eating meals. It had all we needed to enjoy the nearby park including bikes and kayaks. Would definitely recommend!

So wonderful and relaxing!!!

My partner and I wanted to get out of the city and relax before the end of the summer. This place was PERFECT!!! We loved the pool and the house was so clean and cozy. We will definitely book this place again in the future!

Nice stat for a short weekend

This was a very nice property for our trip to New Jersey Motorsports Park. It was tucked away within a short distance from the Track. Laura quickly answered all of our questions and made us feel at home while we were there.

Peaceful Retreat

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family nearby for Easter. This place just made me happy! The whole house and yard are beautifully decorated with antiques and unique items. I even photographed some ideas for my own house. We loved having morning coffee on the long front porch. There's a screened in back porch, with lights and a T.V., perfect for dinner and sipping a cocktail. The live edge counters are beautiful. The beds are ultra comfortable, and the spa bathroom is amazing. I loved the dressing table. The kitchen was stocked with heavy copper pots in good condition. We didn't use the pool as it was too early in the season, but it looked very inviting with a nice deck and chairs around it. It was very peaceful here, with lots of singing birds and soft windchimes, and my grandkids enjoyed the huge yard. Laura was very friendly and responsive if we had any questions, and she even went to extra trouble to put up some Easter decorations for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Tranquility, Quiet Peaceful, retreat

My family came to stay at the property due to a house fire at the end of April and we wanted to stay as close to the school district as possible. Miss Laura’s home offered just that for us plus more. Located a short distance from Parvins State Park the beautifully landscaped property offers just the right amount of privacy and feeling of a neighborhood. The inside of the home was beautifully decorated with the right mix of country chic and modern decor. The bathroom was my favorite room of the house the stand alone shower with real rock floor and wall with double shower head was perfect for either a quick rinse or a long deep scrubbing pampering shower. The claw foot brass tub offered such a surreal tranquil feeling you have to fight to keep your eyes open. The front porch is the kind you see on post cards and make you want to just sit and drink ice cold tea or lemonade whether talking to a friend or sitting in silence. Once the sun sets, which you should take a quick walk or bike ride to the lake to watch and photograph the sun set leaves you with a warm romantic vibe. Sit and reconnect with your family by the fire pit, roast marshmallows, make s’mores, or tell ghost stories. Plenty of fire wood is provided, with fire extinguisher and hose nearby. Her pool was my childrens favorite, securely fenced and gated with a latch no worries crossed this mommas mind while the kids were playing outside, I knew they could not get into the deck with an adult helping with the latch and gate. Put your worries at ease, forgot your problems at this beautiful home in the woods. We definitely will be back to visit!! Thank you for the break we needed from the rest of the world.

NJ Cabin Trip 2024

We have been doing VRBO cabin trips since the beginning of COVID. Each one has been within a day's drive of the Washing DC area. Hence the name of the review. Laura's Place ranks up there with the best of them. The tone was set by the wonderfully whimsical decorations. The tone was enhanced by the fact that the cabin had everything that we needed and that everything was clean and worked. Important was the endless supply of hot water. and the excellent gas stove. Our hostess contacted us a couple of times to answer questions but other than that was completely un-bothersome. If we decide to return to the Pittsgrove area in the future, we will defintitely stay a Laura's place.

Beautiful house and location

The property is beautiful and well maintained. It is in a nice quite neighborhood but within minutes of a grocery store and numerous restaurants and shops. Communication with Laura was flawless.
